Mina PoV
When I arrived home that day, I didn't feel like going to my brothers' performance anymore. I called Taeyong and said I couldn't make it, coming up with an excuse of too much homework.
"Are you sure you don't want to come? I was really hoping you could come watch us. We were going to take you out to dinner." Taeyong said, a little pouty.
"Yeah. I'm not feeling up to it anyways. But perform well for your fans anyways! Even if I'm not there physically I will still be cheering you on!" I said, forcing a smile on my face.
Taeyong studied me for a second before sighing. "Alright. I guess. Well, then I'll take you out tomorrow! Wait, you have that camping thing tomorrow."
"Oh yeah, I don't want to go either." I said.
"What? Why?"
"You know...just...kind of lazy." I said.
"Are you sure?"
I nodded.
"Alright. Well, I gotta go. I'll see you later tonight alright? We'll hang out tomorrow then. Bye bye! I love you!" He said quickly.
"Love you! Hwaiting!" I cheered, holding up a fist.
He laughed then hung up.
I put down my phone and laid down on my bed. I stared out my window.
I gave up. I left him. He's gone. We're strangers now.
I decided to text Yeseul about this. I knew she would be disappointed, but it's okay. This is for the better. For my and Jaemin's safety.

I turned off my phone and sighed.
Well, at least TY and Mark are coming home. Won't be as lonely as fuck.

Taeyong and Mark came home pretty late last night. I heard them come inside the house, but I didn't really pay attention because I was half asleep.
Currently, we were at an ice cream shop with the 127 members as well. We had just finished ordering and were waiting for them to call our names.
"So, Mina, how is it going with that crush of yours?" Jaehyun asked me out of the blue.
"We said our farewells to each other yesterday." I said blankly.
I could feel the boys share looks of worry.
"I'm okay though. I didn't deserve him anyways. But maybe it was a mistake to let him go." I said, giving a small smile. "But it doesn't matter now."
"So, are you just going to leave him like that? He's just gone from your life? Is that how it works?" Taeil asked.
I nodded. "Yeah. We're once acquaintances if that makes sense."
He nodded in understanding.
"So how you feeling now?" Doyoung asked.
"Normal."
"Are you sure? You don't feel like your heart has been ripped out of your body?" Johnny looked at me, evident worry filling his eyes.
I shook my head. "I'm fine."
"127!" The barista called.
We all walked over to pick up our ice cream. I took a lick, but I didn't feel myself smiling. I would always become extremely happy when I ate ice cream. Maybe I'm still feeling down because of Jaemin.
Mark gave me a side hug. "Things will get better, I promise."
"I know." I said.
"Because they have to."
