The Store

Vio's POV

When we were walking to the store to get Shadow's things, Blue and Green were arguing about what to do with Shadow.

"We have to keep him, Blue. We can't just give him to someone else." Green said trying to convince Blue to not give Shadow away.

"We can't take care of a baby for our whole lives!" Blue replied "Besides we don't even know how he got here and why he's a baby!" Blue added.

I sighed.

"When we get the stuff for Shadow, we'll go to the princess." I said, ending their conversation.

When we got in the shop, Blue and Green we're arguing about how big the crib should be, what color, etc. "If he's staying with us he's getting a blue crib!" Blue angrily said.

"Blue doesn't match Shadow! We're getting a black one!" Green replied.

People were looking at us weirdly as to why we were buying baby stuff. I told Green and Blue we should hurry for Shadow's sake.

I know he's with Red, but still Red can be forgetful sometimes.

We got a black and white crib, a purple baby bottle, a bib that has a galaxy on it, a black pacifier, some toys to entertain Shadow, a stroller, a high chair, and four baby monitors just in case.

The cashier looked at us confused for a split second, but told us the total of everything (100 rupees to be exact).

When we left the store, I heard a little girl (around four of five) ask if we had a baby to her mom.

I think Blue and Green heard her too because their faces flushed. I brushed it off.

When we were walking to our house, we were talking about how we were going to get in the castle with Shadow to talk to the princess.

We knocked on the door to our house and was greeted by Red.

Red's POV

When I opened the door and saw the others with Shadow's stuff I jumped happily.

"How was it?" I asked grabbing Shadow's toys and placing them in a box. "It was stu-" Blue started talking.

"It was eventful." Vio said, quickly glaring at Blue.

Green and Blue went upstairs to put the crib in the extra room we were gonna put Shadow in.

Vio handed me a baby monitor and I put it on while Vio put one on for himself.

I grabbed the black baby bottle for Shadow and poured milk in it and put it in the fridge for later.

"Was Shadow giving you a hard time?" Vio asked when Green and Blue were walking down the stairs.

"No, not really all though he almost fell." I said nervously.

"How did he almost fall?" Green asked.

"He was crawling on the table." I said.

"Like that?" Blue replied pointing behind me.

When I turned around Green, Vio, and me gasped.

Shadow was crawling on the edge of the table again.
