"Key, I don't like this," Ariel said, walking into the dark alley.

"Look, Ariel, I promise I will explain everything, you just have to trust me. Please,"  I said, holding her hands.

"Promise?" She asked me.

"Yes. We have to go,"

As we ran and cut into another alley, Mercedes appeared before us, jabbing Ariel in her stomach with a kitchen knife, making her collapse to the ground.

"Mercy, what the fuck!" I yelled, rushing to Ariel's side.

I held her head up as she held onto her stomach, her blood was a bright red, letting me know that Mercy had hit something important.

She wasn't going to make it.

"Key, I-I feel d-dizzy," She stuttered as her breathing became ragged, and her eyes kept fluttering.

"Baby, you're gonna be okay, I promise. Mercy! Call the fuckin' ambulance!" I screamed at her.

"No! This was your job! Now, I've got blood on my hands! All because you couldn't do what the hell I asked of you!" She screamed at me.

"I-it b-burns, Markeyvius," She said, clutching my hand.

"Fuck you, Mercedes," I sniffled.

"W-what's she talking a-about? Job?" She asked.

I sighed as I held Ariel's body in my hands. She was gonna bleed out, and I couldn't do anything to fix it.

"I... I was supposed to kill you. But, I fell in love with you. Forreal, Ari," I said, wiping her face.

"K-kill me?" She questioned, trying to wiggle out of my grip.

"Ariel, I'm so sorry. I let this happen," I said, my eyes watering with tears.

"Someone help me! Help!" Ariel yelled out, trying to move away.

"Ariel, wait," I sighed.

"No! You t-tried to kill me!" She yelled.

"Do it, Markeyvius! Do it! Before she gets us busted," Mercy said, looking down at Ariel as she tried to scream and kick.

So, what did I do?

What I had to.

I could feel my eyes watering as I wrapped my hands around Ariel's throat, starting to strangle her.

The tears began flowing down my cheeks as I watched Ariel stare me in my eyes, trying to remove my blood soaked hands away from her throat.
