"Come on, Gigi! You're seriously sleeping in? We have to move you in today." Chase tries removing the blanket from on top of me, but ends up getting kicked in the face. "Fuck! Gigi, you just kicked me in the nose. I think I'm bleeding."

I roll my eyes as I pull the covers over my head and slam my face into my pillow. I grumble in response, "Good."

"Gigi, come on. We're finally moving schools. We get to have a fresh start." The sound of bullshit gets me to sit up.

"Fresh start? Yeah, right. As if we could get a fresh start anywhere with our parents, Chase. Face it, it's going to be the same everywhere we go."

He starts to pull me out of bed, "Gigi, I hate school as much as you do. But we won't be in the same walls as Mom and Dad anymore."

"You're right."

He nods his head and smirks, "I'm always right."

I hear footsteps heading towards my doorway and my father pokes his head in the door, then walks in. "Genevieve, I've moved your stuff to the town car so you'll have to drive to Vanderbilt on your own. If you don't feel comfortable doing so, I'll call someone to."

I shake my head, "No, it's fine. Chase can ride with me. It's only a four hour drive." Clint Royal nods his head and walks out of the room without another word. "Love you too, daddy!" I roll my eyes at the silence after my statement.

Chase looks at me, mirroring the same look I have on my face: annoyance. He starts opening my dressers and goes into my closet.

I climb out of bed and follow him, "What are you doing?"

"Making sure you packed everything. Since I know you didn't double check, I have to be the responsible twin here." I roll my eyes and I start to protest, but I shut my mouth when he pulls out my two sets of uniforms. "See? One of the most important things we need. What would you do without me?"

I grumble, "Be happy."

He stops, "What was that?"

"Nothing."

He keeps walking and goes through my bathroom, which is partially empty. "That's what I thought."

When he finally finished his stupid inspection of my bedroom, we head downstairs to leave. My mother is standing at the bottom of them waiting, in a silk robe that probably cost more than my tuition.

Diana Royal grabs both of my hands, then pulls me into a tight hug, "I love you, Genevieve. I want you to know that." My jaw physically drops as I hug her back, "I'm sorry about what's going on."

"It's fine, Mom. Don't worry. I love you." I hold back the tears as we hug for a few more seconds then I walk out to my car. I look around to see if Clint is still here.

He's going to say goodbye to us, right?

"He already left." I look at Diana, standing in the doorway of the garage. Her face is pitiful and Chase climbs into my car, slamming the door. I roll my eyes and do the same.
