Once upon a time, there was a large wood which was protected by the forest spirit. One day, Some humans came into the forest and started the burn down the plants. The forest spirit manifested as a human, to stop the humans from burning down the wood. Her name was Rosa Ria. When she came to the humans and told them to stop, they wouldn't listen to her as she had only taken the form of a small girl. The humans continued burning down the forest, until Rosa Ria had no choice but to burn with her home. Even though the humans had not listened to Rosa Ria at first, they now felt guilty for what they thought was killing a human child. All the humans in the village came to put the fire out, but it continued to burn and destroyed their village along with the forest. When the blaze was finally over, the humans build a shrine for Rosa Ria and the children would sing:
"God bless Rosa Ria,
Who came from far away.
Peacefully, we hope she'll rest,
Protector of the days."
