1 - WANGderstruck

"Didi!!!!!!" Dylan couldn't control the wide grin that spread on his face as he saw the beaming face of Yue on his phone screen. He just finished filming a scene for his new movie and is currently on his trailer resting.

"Shen Yue. You look happy to see me. Missed me that much?"

Yue rolled her eyes. "Of course! Not." She then laughed. "But you're right. I'm happy! No. Happy is an understatement. I'm ecstatic! I'm over the moon! Guess why!"

"Your height increased by an inch?" That quip earned him a deathly glare from Yue.

"No. Idiot. I got something better. Are you ready?"

Before Dylan could answer, Yue squealed. "I WILL FINALLY MEET JACKSON WANG!"

Okay.

Dylan wasn't expecting that.

Unlike her fondness for Yamazaki Kento which is public knowledge, her fangirling over Jackson Wang is a secret only him and she knows. 

Technically, it was he who introduced Jackson Wang to Yue. Or Wang Jiaer as he is known in China. They were on a break from filming Meteor Garden and he was in his room watching videos of Super Idol when Yue suddenly barged in. She must have borrowed Hao Ge's copy of his key card again. She suddenly plopped down beside him, grabbed the chips he's eating and watched just when Wang Jiaer arrived on the Super Idol set. 

Dylan admittedly was impressed with Jiaer Ge. He was kind enough to help him during his interview. He learned how to beatbox because of him. His dancing ability was superb. He can speak English well. He was handsome too. He really couldn't fault Yue for admiring him. She asked him a lot of questions about Wang Jiaer and he thought that was the end of that.

But after a few days, he saw Yue watching Jackson Wang videos. She had been a fan since. But she doesn't want anyone to know because according to her, she doesn't want to be awkward in case they get a chance to work together. 

And now the two of them are finally going to meet. Panic starts to grip his heart.  And Dylan's afraid. Well, he doesn't know why he's afraid. It's just that Yue has the biggest crush on Jackson Wang. Yue's so beautiful and bubbly and it's quite easy to fall for her charm. He should know.

Because he had fallen for her.

Hard. 

"Wang He Di. Are you even listening to me? What do you think I should wear? Is he really nice in person? I am totally freaking out! But I guess I don't have to worry because Peng Peng will be with me and Teacher He will be there." Yue continues to babble.

"Wait. Teacher He? For what show is that? Happy Camp?" 

"No. It's for Go Fridge. Don't tell me you haven't watched even one episode of that show? It's a fun show. The refrigerator of the guests will be brought in the studio and then the chefs will have to prepare a dish depending on what is inside the fridge. We can watch it when we hang out this Saturday. I will cook for you. In exchange for that, you have to help me prepare for the show. Deal?"

Dylan was thinking about how he could get out of this one. But when he saw the adorable pout of Yue, he knew he lost the battle even before it began. He sighed. He can never deny her anything anyway.

"Alright. I'll see you on Saturday. But I want hotpot and strawberry shortcake."

The smile that Yue gave him can rival the brightness of the sun.
