Jin's brows furrowed together as he concentrated on the little piece of parchment in his hand. His eyes scanned over the words but it didn't seem to make sense to him, unless it did and he was just confused.
"What is it?" I asked, pulling him from his thoughts. His eyes lifted to mine and he pursed his lips together for a moment. He looked over at the messenger and turned slightly to him. But then he looked back at me.
"It's Jimin... but he left the mourning after your unity ceremony. I don't... understand this." He looked down at the note again. "It just doesn't make sense." He scratched at his head and turned back to the messenger again.
"Send word to the others, tell them I don't know exactly what's going on but we're going to get in touch with Jimin." He stood and motioned for me to follow, I stuck close to Jin as we hurried out of the dining room and down a hall, turning and going down another hall. We came to a door and Jin held his hand up at me. I stopped and stood there by the door that he was about to go into.
"Stay here, I need to grab the L.R.C.D." He said. I looked at him quite confused."L.R.C.D?" I asked. He smiled and slipped inside the room. I waited for a moment trying to think of what the hell he could be talking about. He emerged from the room moments later and held up the familiar looking rounded object. I pointed to it.
"The L.R.C.D?""Yup.. Long Range Communication Device. Also known as the L.R.C.D." He said with a smile. I followed him back through the halls, deciding disturbing Pearl wouldn't be a good thing for her right now we opted for going to the room I'd spent a lot of time with Pearl in. The reading room, or lounge as I'd heard attendants call it. Jin shut the doors to the lounge and we both took a seat in the two chairs that Pearl and I would often sit in when we were in here listening to Taehyung play the harp. I watched as Jin flipped opened the device and pressed on the strange circular piece in the center. It was like a round cell phone with a holographic screen that popped up. One of the strange things I've had a laugh at since coming here. A lot of things seem very medieval while other things, like this communicator seem futuristic.
We waited, staring at the holographic still image of Jimin. Suddenly it moved and was now and Image of Jimin in bed, his hair tousled about."H-Hello?" He asked as he rubbed his eyes sleepily.
"Sorry to wake you little brother. I keep forgetting time shifts.. anyway glad to see you're alright." Jin spoke, not an ounce of worry in his voice.
"Yeah.. ahem... um. So what's up?" Jimin asked softly, almost a whisper. His head turned to look slightly behind him and he seemed to shift. I caught this action and found it kind of odd.
"Well we got a threatening note. Apparently you've fallen." Jin chuckled. Jimin grinned.
"Oh have I? Strange, I don't hurt." He whispered and held in his laughter, his face was lit up with a bright smile though.
"I just called to be sure. The threat is still out there though so please be careful, I know you're in the middle of finding the one but... be cautious, and less curious." Jin smiled as he spoke.
"Well I'll be heading home soon actually..." Jimin replied. Jin looked at me with raised eye brows before looking back at the hologram of Jimin.
"Oh, so fast? Wow... you're faster than Joon." Jin laughed. Jimin couldn't hold in his laughter this time and he chuckled. Jin and I looked at each other when we noticed something move and a slight groan.
"Who's that Jiminie?" A voice so familiar to me rang in my ears. I leaned closer to Jin as I tried to get a better look. Suddenly the groan voice had a face as a head popped up behind Jimin. My eyes widened at the familiar face.
