Playground Friend

I walked down the sidewalk, with Deku by my side. We we're going to the playground, since it was a hot summer day, and I don't wanna stay inside all day. We came to the playground, it was pretty big, so that'd mean i might not get bored so easily! I walked over to the small steps and walked up, seeing a tube slide. I walked over to it and smiled a bit. This would be fu- all of a sudden, when I look inside of the slide, theres a boy who looks..maybe my age just sitting there, staring down the slide. "Uh...Hi..?" I said, confused on why this boi wAsn't gOinG doWn thE hEckIng slIdeE.
There was no answer. I repeated what I said, still nothing. "Excusee meee?" The boy looked at me.
He looked like he just fell face flat into a door or something, there was bruises, and he had a grumpy look. "What?" I thought for a second, then just walked away quickly.
I don't know what happened, but he seems moody, and I don't want to get hurt. He got out of the slide and got up, looking at me. I turned away and practically threw myself head first down a different slide. I ran towards Deku, hiding behind him. "What's wrong, Eri?" He asked.
"What's wrong with that kidddd?" I pointed to the boy.
Deku looked up, he smiled and waved.
"Hi Kota!"
I looked up at Deku, tilting my head.
"Kota?"
He nodded. Kota looked at him, then at the ground.
"Do you know himmm?" I asked.
"Mhm."
"Is he nicee?"
"Mhm." (yes he a gud smol bean uwu)
I looked up at the boy, who was now walking towards Deku.
"What're you doing here?" Deku asked
"What are you doing here?" The boy replied back
"Well, I decided to bring my friend, Eri, here to play! Maybe you guys could play together."
The boy looked at Deku, then me, then back at Deku.
"Sure." (omg he what)
Deku looked at me, and smiled. "Go on, Eri. He won't bite. I promise."
I shyly stepped out from behind him, looking at the boy.
"H-Hi.." I said, obviously both nervous and also curious.
"Hi." He replied, his head faced to the ground.

She sounds both scared and nervous. Did I scare her? Well then.
"Wanna be friends..?"
I look up at her.
"I barely even know you yet."
She looks down for about 5 seconds then looks back up.
"Oh. Ok!"
"What's your favorite animallll?" She asked, smiling in the slightest.
"Uh.."
"Color? Food? Any hobbies?"
"Woah, woah. Slow down."
She looks at me and blinks a couple times. "Wut?"
"I said to slow down."
"Whyy?"
"Are you stupid?"
"Nooo."
"Then you should know why I said to slow down."
"Why?"
I facepalmed. "You were going way too fast."
"Oopsie. Sorry."
I nodded slowly. Honestly, I'm surprised someone is actually talking to me. Usually no one does.
"Sooo..Wut do you wanna do?" She asks.
"Don't ask me."
"Why not?"
"Because I won't answer it."
"Then why couldn't you say that?"
"Because I didn't want to."
"But whYY"
Ok, I really want to laugh. I'm just making this a joke, hopefully she isn't taking it seriously and thinking I'm being serious.
"Because, I said I didn't want to,"
"Why don't you want tooooo?"
"Because I don't,"
"Why?"
"Why not?"

"Because,"
"Because why?"
"Because I said so,"
"Why did you say so?"
"Because I can,"
"That's not fairrr!"
"How?"
"Because I said so!"
"No you can't,"
"Can too."
I smiled only a little bit, she did too. She obviously knew this was a joke.
