"Yeah, that's how we do it Brooklyn!" The DJ shouted in the microphone. It was Halloween night and Kyla bestfriend Amani had dragged her out of her dorm to celebrate. Tino and Carter were throwing a big Halloween party in my home neighborhood and everybody who was somebody would be attending.
Kyla agreed on attending because she wanted to enjoy some air.
Pull up on your bitch, tell your man I'm sorry
Hundred on my wrist, jumpin' out the 'Rari
Ooh, she hit the splits, she know how to party"When I'm with my clique, we know how to party!" Everyone shouted the lyrics to "Chris Brown - Party".
The party was LIT! It was girls twerking, guys shooting dice and people drinking everywhere.
"Where all my beautiful single queens at?" The DJ shouted. "If you don't need no nigga for shit yell 'OH YEAH'." He continued.
Kyla yelled 'oh yea' with the rest of crowd that erupted with a whole bunch of 'OH YEA'S' and 'Periodt'.
"That's how you feel?" Amani jokingly asked hyping Kyla up.
"Yeah Mani fuck these niggas." Kyla responded.
"Ahhh, PERIODT!" Amani agreed doing the hand gesture as they both began laughing.
Kyla was tipsy and feeling herself a lil bit. She had just went through a break up a few weeks ago and had been cooped up in her dorm drowning herself in school work and misery.
But Amani was sick of seeing her best friend sad and decided enough was enough. She needed her best friend to stop sulking over William ugly ass.
Kyla was actually happy she came out tonight because she was feeling better than she have in a while.
"But bestie are you going to be okay if I go talk to jay real quick? He keep giving me that look and damn he fine." Mani asked Kyla pouting.
"Girl go, I'm fine. Just cause I'm single doesn't mean you have to neglect ya dude." Kyla smiled and playfully rolled her eye while shooing her best friend away.
"Okay, I'll be back in five minutes, if you need me before that I'm over here." Mani said pointing her finger in the direction of the area where she'd be.
