Broken

{Reah's POV}

After we got back, I couldn't focused. I need my pack, my family. Don't do it. Cecil warned. I barked back at her and shook my head. Blocking her out, "I'm leaving." I say and the girls look shocked.

"What are you talking about?!" Lena yells.

"I need my pack, they need me." I say and then turn to leave.

"What about my brother?" It comes out in a whisper.

I sigh, "I'll be back, but for now I need to leave." I say and take off running. I haven't done this in a while. I haven't just taken a run. I feel the earth underneath my paws. Feeling all the movement, I howl and then forget that, I'm supposed to be sneaking out.

Reading the time by the sunlight. I have 15 minuets before the guards change, which leaves a 2 minute window to escape. I arrive at the boarder, it had about 5 wolves. I heard commotion, "Let me through you flee bags!" Daria yells.  I smile and step out and growl.

"Move."

"Alpha Reah." They bow their heads.

I growl and they moves back from  Daria. "Back away from my third." The move back and I engulf her in a hug. She hugs back and then pulls away.

"Reah" her voice alone, I knew there was something wrong. "The pack healer...." Tears form in my eyes.

"What happened?" I asked quickly.

"Rouges attacked and he jumped in to protect some wolves. He doesn't have long to live..." I hug her tighter.

"Let's go home.." I say and she seems shocked.

"What about Lu-?" I stop her.

"I want to go home..." by now I had tears in my eyes. They were dripping down my face, coating my cold cheeks with a sad warmth. She nods and we shift, and run off.

{Lucian's POV}

Some guards contacted me, saying she left. I hit the table and scattered my papers to the floor. She cut off the mind link. I can't! I need her! Mako growls at my remark.

We NEED her. But she'll be back.

I feel this extreme amount of sadness. Is it from her?

I think so. Mako says.

One of the guards that were at the boarder walks in, "Alpha Lucian, her third visited and apparently rouges attacked her pack. And someone important got hurt. She was crying..." My heart broke. She was crying?

"Thank you." I say and he nods and leaves. I sit and look at my desk. Stuck in my thoughts.

"Lucian." A voice says, I look up only to be slapped. My eyes open in shock, I growl at the person and see it's Lena. "Stop what you're thinking. She first of all didn't leave because of you and secondly, she just needs some time and space to herself."

If she wasn't my sister, she wouldn't still be alive. But I guess she has a point.

{Reah's POV}

"Reah...*cough, cough* you made it in time.." he smiles and tears fall down my face. I hold his hand tightly.

"Yes Healer I'm here..." I say. Looking at him like this, I just can't. He helped me, he raised me up. He helped my beta and third. He helped us all grow.

"Reah....your grandfather...he would be so proud of you....Re-" He starts coughing violently. I squeeze his hand.

"No no please just rest.." I say.
