Jared sees Nina and his breathe catches, she is just as stunning as the day they met. Her body is his guilty pleasure, her lips his drug of choice! If only she would surrender her soul to him, if only he knew what kept her from him. He had loved and ravished other women but none like her, she was the very air he breathed, she was vital to his existence. He is determined to win her over, her heart is his, now all he needs is for her to surrender to him. Nina" Hello Lover!" J:"My love, you look just as exquisite as you did the day we met" he takes her in his arms and kisses her lips. S:"As I recall Terry had to run out and get fire insurance after that!" He looks at them with a sly smirk on his face. N:"You know Shan, comedy was never your forte." They all laugh J:"We were pretty hot weren't we?" N:"Yes we were" She reaches for his lips Shannon clears his throat S:"Still here!" Jared and Nina giggle while Shannon looks at them as if to say "you're hopeless" S:"I have to admit you do look good together" J:"Thanks Shan" Shannon looks over at Julia, he wants her in his arms he wants to tell her that he loves her, his heart aches for her. Nina looks at Shannon then over her shoulder at Julia N:"I know it can be scary as hell to open up that part of you but sometimes....." She looks at Jared ".....it's that fear that can cost you the one you love" J:"Baby, what are you saying?" N:"I love you Jared, so much! You're where I belong, where I'm meant to be" a tear drops from her eye and he kisses it away. Normally this is the part where Shannon would throw in another comedic pun but truth be told they just hit a nerve. She was right, he was scared but of what? Commitment, settling down, hmm perhaps but it was more than that. Women were his weakness, his guilty pleasure, he enjoyed their company their bodies and the pleasure they provided. Meeting Julia and the emotional and sexual nirvana that came with her is something he never expected.

If there was such a thing as love as first sight it happened with her! She called to him like a siren to a weary sailor only not as deadly. It was late spring, the nights were warm the days warmer still. Nina was on location in Brazil and he and Jared were special guests at a Malibu beach sourer for a high profile Hollywood mogul. Not exactly their scene but it provided great exposure for Jared and an opportunity for the boys to showcase their musical talents. They were playing something of their own composition, Jared was strumming the guitar while Shannon played the bongos. A small group of girls was sitting down front swooning over them but it was a tall brunette with hazel eyes and a figure to kill for that caught his eye. She was working the crowd like she owned the place, their host following her every move like a ravenous wolf. For their final number Jared hands Shannon the guitar and he begins to play, there are no words just music, the melody is beautiful and haunting it immediately captures her attention. She looks up and sees him and to her surprise it's not the same guy playing the guitar, there are no words just the melody, soothing, and hypnotic. He looks up and her breath catches he's beautiful, his hazel eyes are breathtaking even from a distance. Almost green in color and when he looks at her it's like he's staring into her very soul.

After their set he goes to excuse himself but they are approached by a record producer who chats them up for a good half hour, he looses sight of her and wonders. Who is she? What's is she to Mr. McConaughey? What is she doing here? But more importantly where did she go? He goes to the bar and orders a drink, as he waits he hears his host, Mr. M:"I trust you are enjoying yourself! Julia" her response was cold but sensual J:"Of course why wouldn't I be Mr. McConaughey" Mr. M:"Julia please call me Matt" J:"Sorry I'm not used to addressing my elders so informally" Shannon couldn't help but laugh silently at that. Truth be told he wasn't much older than Shannon but Julia had a discerning pallet when it came to men and Mr. McConaughey simply wasn't her type. he was easy on the eyes and had undeniable charm but, No! Julia was a struggling actress hoping to make a name for herself and like Jared she was here for the exposure, and a lot of Hollywood's elite where in attendance including Hollywood's new IT boy! Matt just laughs it off M:"Looks and humor I like that in a woman" Oh dear God is he serious? J:"Need I remind you my being here is strictly business" M:"You say that like I'm paying you to be here." J:"You know what I mean Matthew" he smiles as he moves her hair aside and caresses her cheek sending cold shivers down her spine. Not that he creeped her out mind you, like I said before he was easy on the eyes but being pushy, err insistent doesn't get you very far M:"I think you should know by now that I don't give up that easily Julia" undoubtedly she was his date for the evening he'd been trying to bed her for months but she wasn't interested. Shannon knew he shouldn't butt in but after all women were his weakness and who was he to abandon a damsel in distress. Besides he couldn't resist poking a little fun at his host. S:"Neither do I Mr. McConaughey." he turns to face them and to his surprise it is she who needs saving, he leans in close and his lips brush her cheek as he speaks sending sweet shivers through her body "follow my lead" M:"Do you two know each other?" his lips tease her cheek a little longer and he turns to face his host. S:"Intimately" Matt looks at them incredulously M:"Is that so Leto, Julia's never mentioned you." Shannon gives Matt a smug grin S:"I'm that good, she's positively speechless" She thinks to herself "is he really" she blushes at her thoughts and he takes his queue and pulls her close. J:"My personal life is not something I tend to discuss with just anyone Matthew" Hmmm....... They look cozy enough but ...... M:"There's something I don't understand Leto why would you let another man bring your girl to a party you are clearly attending yourself?" S:"I'm here to work not play McConaughey and you of all people should know it is ill advised to mix business with pleasure." Leto? why does he keep calling him Leto? Wait is he the IT boy everyone keeps talking about? J:"Be nice darling, Mathew's just being curious that's all" Shannon gives Julia a mischievous smile S:"I'm sure he is my love but you know what they say, curiosity killed the cat and we wouldn't want Matthew here to drop dead of a sudden heart attack or the like" Julia can't help but giggle, damn he's good! J:"Of course not my love" she smiles at him coyly and leans her head onto Shannon's shoulder. Just the feel of his body pressed up to hers is enough to make her come undone. On the inside Matt is smoldering but he won't let it show M:"Nice of you to worry about my safety Leto but I assure you it won't be necessary" in the distance some one calls his name "Hey McConaughey" he looks over his shoulder to see who's calling him then back to Shannon and Julia M:"Duty calls, have fun you two....." he opens his arms with a sarcastic wave "Oh and enjoy the party!"
