An Angel who is Transitioning from Female to Male ; After two many years of gender dysphoria and life problems (Based on the True Story of Pop Artist Nikolas Taylor)
Nikolas Taylor Wilkens-Hays known as "Nikolas Taylor" is a Trans-Male Singer, Songwriter, Drummer, Guitarist, ans Actor from Chicago, Illinois. Nikolas Taylor is born and raised in Evanston, Il. Due to his biological parents being unable to care for him at a young age, He was taken into custody through DCFS and was Adopted by His Mother Mary Ann Wilkens an Alternative Health Instructor , and his Father Peter Hays a senior packaging engineer. He also has a brother and a sister who currently studies in a four year college institution.
Growing up in a multiracial house hold, Portage Park, a city suburb in Chicago is predominantly Polish, Hispanic, and Irish/Italian American. Nikolas Taylor started getting into music as little as three in a half years old. Due to his ailing health; Nikolas Taylor had to receive at least 8 surgeries for the Ears, nose and throat constituons; on and off Occupational Therapy, Speech and Music Therapy.
When Nikolas Taylor Hit age five, this is where he had started identifying interest into male gender roles, and also developing relationships with females. Nikolas Taylor also had severe ADHD, and also had an Aspergers Syndrome Diagnosis Which led to odd hyper behaviors such as running around; Standing while peeing, and an Active Imagination.
At the age of Thirteen, Nikolas Had struggles with coming out as originally being gay; and also genderqueer, due to being in a catholic community and school most of his life. At the Time of his Freshman Year of High School, he knew that he was Trans; but kept on being closeted due to being bullied, and the target of discrimination in a catholic high school.
Sophomore year, Nikolas Taylor moved to a pubic school which not only triggered high levels of anxiety; but it resulted in his hospitalization. It was during his hospital stay, that he had discovered that He was Trans, and had all the fears and anxiety built up inside him that kept him for coming out.
After his hospitalization, Nikolas Taylor moved into a group home, that had helped him gain the strength to become more independent and had led him to come out as Trans the Following year of his residency. The organization allowed him to medically transition via hormone replacement therapy; but would not approve legal name , gender, and confirmation surgery transition.
Nikolas Taylor now currently lives in a LGBTQ transitional housing where Legal; Medical, and Gender Conformation Transitioning is acceptable and is highly encouraged. He currently is working towards an Associate's In Arts degree in Music at Triton College, and plans to continue studies at Columbia College Chicago, AMDA New York, or Carnegie Mellon In Pittsburgh.
Most of the time, He's either doing music, or is goofing around; Mainly I'm doing both.
