Dream Turned Reality

Chapter 5

I woke up, thankful for the dreamless night. I had done my morning routine and went downstairs. My mother wasn't there, which is strange. I look for something to eat when I see a note on the counter

'Izuku dear,
I am doing some morning errands so I can't make some yummy breakfast for you. I left plenty of cereal and milk. Or the bread in the pantry for some toast, as long as you eat it's okay.

With lots of love♥️♥️♥️Mom'

So that explains why she isn't here. I get some toast for breakfast cause its convenient and quick. I look at the clock to see what time it was and realized how much time I had. Wait... I need to see if it is a weekend because if it is that will make me seem so stupid. Okay and... no, we are in the clear it is a school day. 'Well' I thought 'Might as well head to class.' I was walking to UA high, checking for Kacchan just in case. After a few minutes of walking I get there. I wander the halls aimlessly just to kill time. I was walking as such and I hear yelling in the distance. I go towards the noise, someone could be in trouble. I realize the yelling is from the bathroom. 'Oh no, people are doing the freaky in there. I have to man up and go in there and remind them they are in school and underaged.' I thought. I crept closer to the bathroom. I could hear the voices clearly now.

"Screw you Icy-hot!"

Obviously Kacchan. Is he with todoroki? Are they... are they dating? Wait, he's talking back.

"I don't know what you mean bakugo, I'm just saying the truth. You need to calm down and listen to what I have to say."

"I DON'T GIVE A DAMN ON WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY YOU BASTED"

I'll have to ask todoroki about it later. He clearly won't get another word to Kacchan. I can go into the bathroom now. They were talking about something before the other day, maybe it's about that? I'll just have to see for myself.

"Hey todoroki, Kacchan. What were you talking about? I could hear you all the way across the hall."

"NONE OF YOUR DAMN BUSINESS DE-"

"- Hey, he might know something. We need as much information as we can gather"

"What do you mean todoroki? Did something happen?"

Todoroki didn't answer, so did Kacchan. Like they were afraid to share. They looked at each other, nodded, and looked back at me.

"Midorya, have you been having nightmare recently? Ones of... becoming a... a villan?"

I stared at him in shock. He's been having them too? Something must be afoot here then. I nod to them in response. So I'm not the only one! This is such a relief. I can vent to them about my different dreams. But Kacchan... I can't tell them that one. Surprisingly it was Kacchan who said something to break the silence

"So nerd, tell us all of your dreams. Every. Single. One"

I started to panic "B-b-but I can't tell you one kacchan, a-all the rest I can but there is this one... i-it was to real. So gruesome to say out loud"

Todoroki tries to comfort me "hey, we need as much as you can give us. If it makes you feel better, I'll share my worst one. Then you have to share yours. Got it?"

I barely nod in response,still shook in the situation.

"Okay, here goes nothing" he mumbles to himself. He clears his throat and begins his tale:

"It was a normal day. I went to school, which was more of a blur, I stayed a little longer to prolong myself to the beastly creature of a  father. It was getting late and I knew I would get chewed out for staying so late so I went to the house. My 'father' was waiting at the door with a scowl worse than his resting expression. He looks at me and asks why I was out so late. "None of your business"

"Well it IS my business because I am your father, and you have training that you are late to." I really didn't want to do MORE training. I spit back "Why do I train so much? It is tiring to do it day after day, with no reward" the flames on his huge, ugly face where all over the place and he smacks me to the ground. He looks down at me and says "Tch. Just like your siblings and even your mother, such a disappointment." That was the last straw I had with this old man. I don't know how it happened, but one moment I was on the ground, the next I was up and moving. Using my fire side I burn him to the ground. Smirking at his chared body, I say "Tsk, tsk, tsk. Couldn't even handle the flames he gave me. Such a disappointment" Todoroki finished with a sigh. He looked at the both of us and said  "And the problem is, I don't regret it now, even though it is so wrong." Me and Kacchan both starred at him, in complete disbelief. I knew he hated his father but not to go that far...

Todoroki then turned to me and said "Well, Its your turn"
