Even if we fight forever

Chapter 9

I was running on the roof toward the helicopter, when something caught my eye. I stopped to get a better look. Steve was emerging from the building below with Bucky and the rest of the gang. Two robot suit men decent. One is war machine and the other must be Stark.

They were busy talking when the Black Panther jumps over one of the trucks to join them. They keep talking when a guy with a red and blue suit comes swinging over the captain, shooting webs from his wrists?

What is going on in this world? Creepy bug people running and swinging around. Spider-man, that makes sense. I moved down to get a better look, that is when I saw Natasha. I tried to focus on the discussion.

I heard Sam on the radio, hanger five, North runway. I moved back up the building to get a better look of where hanger five would be. I look down at Steve and see Scott handing him his shield.

That's when I heard. "Barnes is mine." I leaped off the building and moved as fast as I can.

"Move, Captain. I won't asked a second time."

"You won't have to." He side steps and I slam into him.

I rolled back to my feet. "I have been waiting since the rooftop to kick your ass."  I snarled and let my inner vampire out and showed off my fangs.

"Step aside."

"You are going to have to kill me first."

"As you wish." He crouches and makes his move to attack when I attack first and knock him down.

"Stay down and away from Bucky."

I turned around to walk away when everything went dark.

I slowly open my eyes and take a deep breath. I sat up and place my hands om my head.

"Are you okay?"

I look up to see Natasha with a very concerned look on her face. "I'm fine..." I rub my neck. "What happened?"

"Wanda accidentally dropped a car on you. I thought you would be gone for good. Bucky asked me to lift the car from you and your body will do the rest."

"Did they make it?"

"He's fine. He and Steve got out safely."

"Good. Now where can I get transport to get there?"

"Listen you nearly died, can you please just take a breather?"

"Natasha..."

"Nat."

"Nat." I took a deep breath. "I have to go. They want to kill him. I have to go, now."

"Sarah, please, just calm down."

"I can't!" I close my eyes. "I can't lose him. Not again." Tears are falling from my eyes. "Even... Even if I fight forever, I will never lose him again."

"I get it. I do." Nat looks around. "I'm no going to help you." She hands me a key. "I'm also not going to tell you to take the elevator to the roof we're this key will fit."

"Thank you Nat." I got up and hugged her.

I followed her directions and got inside a jet. I placed the key in the ignition and turned. Next stop Siberia. I'm coming Bucky.
