Wally's POV

Wally was very confused. He flirted with the girls all the time, but he never expected anything to come of it. They always turned him down, and in his heart he had a deep respect for both of them. He didn't actually love them, he was just a flirty guy. It's what he did. If Artemis or Megan had shown interest he would've gone along with it, but just because he cared about them and their feelings. Plus, after all his advances it wouldn't be fair to say no. Really and truly, everyone on the team was his friend.

So, whoever it was, he wasn't going to tell their secret. He would have to figure this out on his own. He wasn't a greaty detective, but considered himself good with feelings. that counted for something, right?

He got some breakfast and watched everyone get out of their rooms, looking for a sign. The first to wake up was Artemis. She gave him a weird look.

"What're you looking at, baywatch?" Her voice was scratchy from sleep and she walked a bit slower than normal to get food, but that was just Artemis in the morning. Next was Kaldur, who simply nodded good morning and raised an eyebrow at his behavior before going to the kitchen. Then Robin woke up. He held his head high, wearing the mask even though he was otherwise in civvies. Wally knew it was because they kept the lights too dim in the morning for sunglasses, but that and the fact that batman trained him didn't make it easy to read his expression. Finally Conner walked in, Megan only 20 seconds behind him.

"good morning!" Megan said cheerily. Everyone grumbled a response accept robin and Wally, who were silent, and Artemis, who just grumbled. She was not a morning person, to say the least. Megan frowned. "You okay, kid? You're awfully quiet." It was true. Normally, Wally would have eaten all the food and chatted everyone's ears off by now.

"Can't we just enjoy it?" Artemis said, chugging a cup of coffee and reaching for another.

"Hey!" Wally retorted, a little too loud, as always, and voice surprisingly clear for just waking up.

"M'gann is correct. You are usually much more active. Are you sick?" Kaldur this time. Wally looked around the room to see everyone staring at him with varying levels of concern and question on their faces, He sighed, trying to think of an explanation.

"I've just been thinking.." Wally started.

"Don't hurt yourself," Robin said in a joking voice, causing Wally to roll his eyes and a few chuckles to go around the room. "Seriously though, what's up?" he continued.

"I just..." Wally searched for words, "I Didn't get much sleep last night." He took a huge bite of food, more to stall than because he was hungry, for once.

"Why not?" Superboy had the worst morning voice, it was almost hard to understand.

Wally swallowed before replying. "I just couldn't get comfortable. I'll be fine though, so can you stop staring at me?" Everyone looked akward until Artemis spoke up.

"Wow. Thats nice change." There were a few more chuckles as everyone finished breakfast and left to do varoius activities. Robin and Kaldur to train, Conner and Megan had a date, and Artemis to see Green Arrow. Wally sighed again, setting his hand on his chin and leaning on it. He could already feel a headache coming on. This would not be an easy mystery. It seemed, too, that it was much harder keeping a secret that wasn't even yours.
