Today 18 yrs ago the World Trade Centers we're struck by two commercial airplanes. One plane hit the pentagon and another crashed into a field. Thousands of people died that die and people are still dying today due to this tragedy. It saddens me to know that this event isn't talked about during school anymore. I was born December 5, 2001. My year was the last year that teachers had students that were alive during this time. We are barely taught about why these events happened, how much these people suffered. First responders are dying because of what they inhaled that day yet they do not get medical care. They went to Congress was turned down. People also forget the flight crews they died that day. I am in a family of flight attendants and they are tightly knit groups. My mother and father could have been in the air that day. I urge you all to research more about 9/11 and understand why this happened. These terrorists were already here for years learning how to fly planes from our own flight schools. People don't talk about this anymore, it needs to. this is  probably badly written but I just wanted to get this out there
