Kido woke up and yawned. " almost ready arent you little one.'' Kido whispered. ''HEADS!" A young fire dragon screamed. She hit he ground and bounced into the water. After steam and gas rushed into the air, Kido rushed in and dragged the young dragon out.
He flapped his wings harder and harder as he tried to day the collosal dragon out of there. The fire on her neck was wounding his face as it burned weaker. Fire dragons can't swim, nor can they survive long in water.
Finally he flung her up and out of the water. Kido felt him just fall as he was relieved of his weight. ''Are... are you .... are you ok?" Kido asked getting close.
''WOWZA!" The fire dragon screamed with surprise. Kido stumbled back and looked at her with wide eyes once remembering what she was. He flew up and into the water and held the egg to keep warm.
The dragon looked over the water. ''Hi. I am Midnight!''
Kido stared at the friendly dragon. ''You'll kill be when I come out!" Kido growled. ''After you saved me? That water is vicious to my scales and you knew I was a fire dragon and fire is vicious to your scales so no I want to thank you..'' Midnight said with a sift sorrow in her eyes.
Kido slowly flew out and greeted the other dragon. Midnight looked at Kido and smiled. ''Your not so bad'' she said still stemming from the water. ''Your welcome now goodbye'' Kido growled. He then flew up and dashed into his cave again. ''Uh...bye!"
Kido looked over the side as a hoard of nightmare wings flew by. He groqked and set the egg down as it began to crack when he turned. He rushed back and saw the egg burst open and a tiny black water dragon popped out. Kido stared. Water dragons are blue not black.
''Daddy?" The little one asked. ''No I am your brother...your only family left... sorry little one...'' Kido said looking at his claws. ''Oh... so no mommy or daddy?" The young hatchling asked while hanging her claws over her egg.
''Well I have someone to catch so stay here please!" He begged. ''Okay!" She called as he flew after the nightmare wings. ''....big...brother....'' the little one said. ''I will give you a name when I get back'' Kido said while chasing the mad creatures. He flew faster and grabbed the back of one and killed it. He flew to the next and did the same.
''THIS IS FOR LILLY AND MY MOM AND DAD!" Kido screa end as he tore open the dragon. Kido could do that, be fine one second then blow up the next. He always hid those feelings deep inside. Would he ever protect his family's revenge or, would he go mad and destroy it....?
