i was
being watched like the dragons in the throne room
watch whoever approaches,
unfriendliness ringing in their dead gaze.
"ser jaime!"
someone calls, pointing out from a ragged pathway, overlooked by a dark wooded tree with heavy green leaves.
they look at him in distaste. he killed aerys II targaryen.
my father.
however, they look at me with much more disdain than the kingslayer.
suddenly i feel afraid.
"of course,"
i mumble, falling in beside him, terrified.
"i'm a targaryen,"
i mock, my deep purple eyes flickering nervously.
he places a large and on my shoulder and gives me a reassuring glance.
"i will not break my vow."
he promises, giving me a soft smirk.
i shrug his hand off once i feel his cold armor touch me, causing me to gain chills.
"i have never been anywhere but king's landing, ser jaime. and even there, i was not welcome."
he scoffs, blinking quickly.
"believe me, you'll find the "lady of rosenrot to be much kinder than the drunk on the throne."
i slap his arm, causing a stinging feeling to emerge.
"princess alysanne, you'll find house centyre to be much more forgiving than eddard stark. they will not care what i say of robert baratheon."
i frown deeply, glancing at his strong jaw.
"have you ever been to rosenrot?"
he nods, stopping and turning to face me.
"before i was knighted."
i hummed in response, wrapping my hand around his arm.
"princess alysanne. sounds much nicer than queen cersei,"
he teases, causing me to poorly suppress a giggle.
i saw him smile, thanks to my side glances.
i see a small child running through a large, opened gate, grinning wildly.
"mother, mother! a knight!"
a smaller, tanner girl skips out, gasping in adoration.
"and a princess!"an.:
jaime is alysanne's bff. they are a brotp.
could i maybe.. make them an otp..? just kidding.. unless?
