alysanne shivered,
staring contently as a bird fluttered around the yard,
"it's so cold here!"
alysanne hissed to her sworn sword.
he smiled softly.
"yes, yes."
the blue-eyed knight responded,
playing with his fingers, boredom flushing over him.
"tell me about rhaegar."
she pleaded him, pulling the demand from thin air.
jaime looked at alysanne in confusion, before realizing she never really saw her brother.
he spent the beginning of the war with lyanna stark-targaryen in the tower of joy.
"your brother was quite a kingly type, compared to your father. he loved to sing, and gave money to the poor. he was beloved, up until he fled with the wolf girl. robert baratheon, his grace, wanted her back. so did lord stark, er, rickard and brandon."
he looked down sadly,
"i was there when your father killed them. innocent men, but fools."
she hummed.
"yes, fools. all northerners are fools."
jaime inhaled softly,
"except maybe the lady sansa."
alysanne added,
further leading jaime to believe that the friendship the two girls had was one of trust, kindness.
"she was the one good thing in the dreadful kings landing. i wish she came with us."
he looked down slowly.
"the heir needs a wife,"
he said with a shrug of his shoulders.
alysanne threw him a backwards glance.
"sansa is too sweet for terrible prince joffrey, even if she is enthralled by him. your brother, tyrion, is a much better fit, despite the drastic age difference."
jaime looked slightly shocked at the idea.
"possibly,"
he whispered.
