There was naught but darkness, and despite her best effort, Sasha was lost. She didn't know what to do. She was alone in the dark. She called out to everyone she knew, anyone really... but no one came. To her mother, she called for guidance, silence. To her friend Dietrich, she asked for help, silence. To Illia and Baron, she asked for a hand, nothing but silence. She wandered in the oily darkness, she felt cold, like a harsh winter had come early while the memories of early summer remained. She fell to her knees. She asked if anyone was there and only silence remained. As she tried to get up, she stumbled and fell. She kept falling and falling and falling. It didn't stop. A pit formed in her stomach as she looked downward, toward where she was falling until...

With a loud thud, Sasha fell out of bed and hit her head on the wooden floor. With a groan, She held the back of her skull. After a few seconds of laying down and clutching her aching skull, she slowly got up and sat back down on her bed. At least she was fully awake now. She looked at the time and... 8:40. Sasha's eyes widened and she scrambled for the toilet. She did her morning routine at lightning speeds, even using magic to go slightly faster. She was rather loud, causing Illia to groggily sit up and look over what was making so much noise. With a loud BAM, the door of the restroom slammed open, revealing a half-dressed Sasha with her toothbrush still in her mouth. Illia raised an eyebrow.

(Illia): "What?"

Sasha pointed at the clock. Illia looks at it for a solid second, still half awake. She had a similar reaction to Sasha once she regained her senses, though she was more vocal about it.

(Illia): "OH SHIT!"

She bolted out of bed to slap Baron awake.

(Baron): "What the fuck!?"

She yelled at him to hurry up because they were going to be late. Baron was rather non-nonchalant about their situation.

(Baron): "No need to rush, we are already going to be late so there no need to-"

(Illia): "If you finish that stupid line, I'll slap you again."

Baron rolls his eyes before getting out of his bed. Everyone got dressed and they rushed out of their room. Baron stopped in front of the dining hall, his stomach growling. He looks at his friends, who looked away.

(Baron): "We... don't have the time, do we?"

They all looked down, dejected. The price to pay to be only slightly late. They ran out of the hotel and into the open, bustling streets of Trivium.

(Sasha): "Crap, there are so many people. And not a cab in sight."

Baron held his chin, thinking of a solution. Lightbulb. He grins proudly before crouching down and producing a small case from his coat. Sasha looked at him out of curiosity.

(Sasha): "What are you doing?"

He opened the case, revealing multiple coloured chalks. He pulls one out and starts drawing Runes on the ground. Without looking away, he finally answers Sasha's question.

(Baron): "I think I have a solution."

He drew a large circle filled with multiple Runes surrounding one large Rune. The largest Rune looked like a stylized minimalist bird. Illia already knew what he was doing, and wasn't thrilled.

(Illia): "Can't we just run or wait for a cab?"

Baron looked at her, a shit-eating grin plastered across his face.

(Baron): "Aren't we going to be late though?"

(Illia): "Please don't do this..."

Baron rubs his hands together, his rune circle was complete. He slammed his hands unto the circle and his eyes glowed. The circle lit up and the runes became animated by the flow of magic. Baron stood up, his eyes still glowing. He stood in the centre of the circle and held out his hands.
