In for a pinny
In for a pound
As your told
It claws at my heart
And at my soul
Trying to get out
only to feel whole
The scars on my heart
Aren't just for show
It lashes out
Tired of the trials
And the bull
It's the bird
I'm the cage
To be free is its dream
The tears that it leaks
Its the stepping stone
Of the freedom it so desperately seeks
