One thing that Peter hate was Galas. But with his dad being Tony Stark, of course there would be Galas. Every once a year, it would be held at Stark Industries. There was a level specifically for these kinds of events. Of course, Peter was always required to attend them. If he could, he would have left and hid in his room and watched 'Star Wars'.

This year, Tony invited all the superheroes. His old friend, Logan was there too. "Stark!" The genius turned around and grinned widely. "Logan!" They hugged and laughed.

"It's nice to finally see you again, old friend," Logan said. Tony chuckled and nodded his head.

Peter stood in a corner and watched his dad. It became a habit of his, to observe people. Everyone was chattering and drinking. Clinking their glasses together and laughing. Soft music played throughout the entire floor too. He sighed and left for the balcony.

It was the only spot where people rarely came out. The cold gave Peter goosebumps but he didn't mind. Every year, he came out to the balcony and stayed there for almost the entire night.

"It's nice, isn't it?"

Peter whipped his head and someone else stood there. The older male had blonde hair and startling blue eyes. Scars littered various part of his face yet he made it look good. Peter blushed and was thankful it was nighttime. "Yeah, it is," he replied.

The male walked beside Peter and leaned against the railing too. "What's a pretty boy like you doing out here?" He asked without shame. Peter blushed and glared half heartedly at him.

"I'm not pretty," he mumbled and looked back down at the city. The male chuckled and glanced into the night sky. "I'm Wade," he introduced. Peter smiled and replied, "Peter."

He turned around and faced the inside. Separating him and the superheroes was a glass wall a few feet away from him. "I came out here because I don't like Galas. I hate them," he said. He watched as his dad talked with the others. He knew most of them since Tony was introducing him to them.

Wade chuckled and followed suit. "It's not that bad. You just have to find the right person to stick with," he said and smiled. Peter raised an eyebrow.

"Oh? Is that where you come in?" He teased. Wade bowed dramatically and smirked.

"If you insist." He lifted Peter's hand and kissed it. The young arachnid superhero blushed and giggled. Wade cocked his head to the side and smiled loving his giggle.

"Tones, look," Logan said and pointed outside with his wine glass. Tony looked in that direction and raised an eyebrow. Peter and Wade were talking and laughing. They were the only ones at the balcony since it was cold out. A smile graced Tony's face. It was the first time Peter was actually enjoying the Gala.

He knew that Peter hates Galas but he wanted Peter to meet new people. If he was going to take over SI, he needed to have alliances. "Five months?" Logan asked. Tony snorted.

"Ha! Two months."

"Deal."

Sure enough two months later, Peter and Wade were together. He saw them walking into SI holding hands and laughing. Wade saying something cheesy and Peter laughed at it. Tony smiled, "Fri? Record this."

"Are you sure sir? Isn't this invading their privacy?"

Sometimes, he hates how the AI was right. He sighed but wasn't disappointed. "Yeah, you're right," he said and left the lab with his coffee.
