When life's wind seem to take life out of you, you tend to change your structure and find out new things, even about life itself... As confusing and seemingly mad as it might come...

Rya's Pov.

The room was cold, not like it wasn't normal for anywhere here to be, though.

But it being so made sitting for almost ten minutes very uncomfortable.

Even after the lady who brought me, Louisa she introduced herself to be. Told me several times upon her sensing my fear and discomfort that I wasn't in any trouble, and all I was here for was to see the supreme leader and have a chat.

But how couldn't I  be in any trouble?

I almost killed someone, no. I killed someone.

I should be in a dungeon right now, tortured by dragons.

But I'm not, I'm here... Waiting for the supreme leader, and only God knows who that is.

"greetings my dear child!" I shook in my chair at the shadowy sound of the man that appeared before me.

"too ancient?"

"uh," I stood up

"I could tell I frightened you" he gestured for me to seat and sat before me behind the big table.

"no, uh, actually I was just a little spooked. That's all"

"sure you were" he smirked.

Did I mention the man who once sounded like an ancient grandpa actually sounded and looked like a very sexy thirty year old. His eyes were warm brown, more like hot chocolate and his hair caramel brown like he was a walking edible headed man, oh, and his lips were soft pink... So edible. Should I be thinking of the supreme leader In this way?

He smiled at me warmly, like he was observing me. I really hope he can't read my mind too. But, if he can... I'm totally dead.

I tried to hide myself as much as possible. Make myself non viewable.

"you asked to see me, sir?" I gave a small bow, I mean, that's what everyone does around here. As a form of courtesy.

"yeah, I remember... I don't have amnesia or something."

"oh, common. Relax girl" he chuckled "was just messing with you"

"oh, alright" I shifted for a bit in the leather chair.

"now let's get right to business" he smiled and I nodded "Power, it's all around our world, doesn't matter what realm it is. Power is still everywhere. Power is in the sun, in our water, everything even in our breathes. Do you know an average individual, at rest, produces around 100 watts of power. This equates to around 2000 kcal of food energy, which is why your recommended daily intake of calories is around 2000 kcal"

"yeah, I took physics as a major course back on earth"

"good girl!" he praised "now as supernaturals our brains are heightened, strengthened, stronger. We have the ability to use more percentage of them than any human can. We have the ability to harness the power and energy from our surroundings and use them to activate our powers through our souls, our emotions. Now in a case where you draw in too much energy, by result of high level of emotions you feel channeled out at once, that's when catastrophe happens. That's when what you did earlier today, happens" he smiled as I absorbed knowledge from what he just said.
