Chapter Two

Violet's Pov
"So what is it about her then hmm?" I questioned flashing my eyes over to Edward who was sitting on the edge of the window. I had gotten a little comfortable over the past few days. Met his family/adopted siblings and saw Carlisle again.

I think being back with Edward physically I've been feeling an improvement, but mentally not so much. It kinda feels worse actually kinda it felt like when I first left Edward.

It was hard being in love with someone who doesn't even have a clue that you do. "Well for one she is human," Edward muttered focusing his eyes onto me.

I prepped myself up onto my side laying on my hand watching him closely. "Your mate is human?" I questioned in shock slowly sitting up, quick to question things in my mind.

I didn't even know that was truly possible actually. "Yeah, I haven't actually told her about what we are yet, but she keeps questioning things, I made the mistake of saving her the other day in front of the whole school." He whispered flicking his eyes back over to me.

"Well damn," I said moving to lay on my stomach inhaling a bit taking in the new information. While the while I was having stupid drug relapse. Not now. I told myself drifting my mind off so Edward couldn't see it.

"Well Edward, I've never been infatuated by someone before." I lied straight through my teeth cause I was deeply in love with my maker and yet he could never see it.

I got up off his bed and made my way over to him wrapping my arms around his neck gently resting my head on top of his gently feeling his hands gripping onto my hands softly.

"But I'm here now, I'll help you through it every way I can okay," I reassured him gently feeling him rubbing his thumb all across my hands and he raised my palms up to press gentle kisses across the inner skin.

"Thank you, Violet." He whispered quietly, slowly flicking his eyes up a bit to gaze at me.

"Im happy you are staying here, but you know what that means right?" He asked me.

I slowly rolled my eyes at the thought of it hissing quietly but slowly nodding.

"Yes yes, I will enroll in school soon, don't you worry your handsome head over it."

"I'm more about you actually."

"Please god don't tell me I have to do this," I whispered chewing at the bits of my nails deeply, flicking my sleepy like eyes around the school parking lot, sitting in Edward's shiny Volvo whole he was sitting next to me

I hated school, it was just an excuse for people to make you look stupid and to make others feel less of themselves.

"I'm gonna be with you the entire time I promise, you're lucky I was able to get Carlisle to let them make your entire schedule identical to mine." He joked quietly keeping his eyes on me.

"A little reassurance," I mumbled and felt him brushing away all my curly hair away. My other hand was inside my leather jacket holding a small baggy.

I couldn't even go two weeks clean. "You head inside I'll be in shortly," I answered Edward's eyes were still focused on me before he nodded kissing the side of my head once.

He grabbed his backpack holding his keys tightly. He leaned against the door frame watching me. "Don't be too long Vi." He told me sternly.

"Just need some mental preparations." I gave him a fake smile watching him shut the door.

I waited until he was a good step away from the car before I pulled the baggy from my leather jacket and leaned my head down to my knees shaking my head fast.

"I don't need it... I don't need it I can get over him this won't be like last time when he had an effect on me." I whimpered into my knees feeling so weak for no reason.

I just wanted to be noticed by him, but he will always see me as his creation, like a little girl he cared for. Never in the way of a way you needed. To me, he was more than my maker.

I loved him more then I loved anyone else. I quickly snorted the white powder fast, quickly inhaling as much as could before tossing the empty baggy out the window taking a deep breath in.

I started rubbing under my nose a bit making sure I looked okay, and not drugged out. But who was I kidding.

Even as a vampire who was suppose to be immortal, have beauty, and be this perfect thing. I looked tired with bags under my eyes.

I looked heartbroken like many have felt. I guess I was still human in a way.

I grabbed my backpack getting out taking a deep breath fixing myself up a bit.

I looked around the parking lot letting my gold eyes study everyone. A few noticed I had come from Edward's car and they were whispering and mumbling, gossiping.

I walked past a couple of trucks looking straight at one girl that's Bella Swan I thought to myself when my eyes only flashed a little to my attention.

"What's up beautiful." I looked over at the guy who had his arm around a blonde hair girl a group of friends. Instantly when I locked eyes on them all. I got everyone's information.

Tyler was his name "I don't know handsome look up to the sky and find out." I teased back laughing walking past them hearing the loud laughter and teasing from his group of friends.

Only time my power came in handy. Was by one glance at someone I could find out there age, name, birth, everything, and even when they died.

It was strange was Bella's she was gonna die in four years tops. How odd. I thought to myself playing with my lower lip slowly heading inside.
