Emma's pov
It all makes sence now, everything he was trying to tell me was true, but should I stick with the lies. He is right when he says that death is important for the world, so there is really no point in saving lives. Everything has an end, everything runs out of time. Every step you take is slowly dying which means that, everyday is a day closer to death, and what if humans are bad, we kill, we demolish, we invent. People are pretty much the real definition of evil. My eyes go wide as I sit on the bench we stopped at a few minutes ago, trying to process what he just told me. Smiley knelt down beside me and put his hand on my knee. "I get that this is hard for you to comprehend, but trust me that this is the truth, and that I'm helping you understand the proper physics in human nature." (did that make sense? That kinda just popped in my head...) I shook my head and stood up. "Your right. I'll help you." I said standing confidently. He smiled. "good, but you have to meet some...... people. To know who I really am."
"Your not a doctor?"
"Yes I am, b-"
"Then what do you mean?"
"I want to sho-"
'Dr Smiley's pov'
She started ranting on about lying and some other stuff. "This is why I wanted to show you" I said.
Didn't hear me... still talking.
"I wanted you to know without getting mad or scared."
Didn't hear me... still talking.
"Can you just listen."
Still talking.
"Emma."
Still talking.
"Listen." I'm surprised I'm still calm about this.
Still talking.
"Emma~?"
Still talking.
I cross my arms and put my weight on my other foot. "Stop it or I'm sewing your mouth shut." She stops pacing and looks at me. "what?" She says. I smile. "let's just go." I replied grabbing her hand and walking towards the forest.A few silent moments pass and we made it to the edge of the forest. "Slender forest?" She whispered. I stopped walking and slowly turned towards her with a shocked expression.
