I'm 14 and pregnant

hows my baby??!!

I woke up, it was quite early I felt I hand on mine and I could hear nervous muttering.I tried to open my eyes but the glare of the white room was to much and I fell back into a deep sleep.

2 hours passed and at last I managed to wake up. When I looked up I saw Cody, he was the one holding my hand.

"Cody?" I whispered. He looked down at me quickly and tears sprang to his eyes

"Kaitlyn?" He kissed me and wrapped his arms around me, suddenly a question springed to my mind and I started crying.

"hows the baby!" I screamed at Cody he went quiet no no no no no NoNoNONO my brain started ringing I felt sick and dizzy.

"Cody help" I whispered

"its ok" he soothed I knew it wasn't. Why did people keep telling me everything was ok when it clearly wasn't! A doctor came in and sat by my bed (next to Cody)

"is my baby ok?" I asked. My tears were all gone but I still felt like screaming he took my hand in his and I could see his eyes welling up slightly.

"we don't know yet but probably"

"no" I cried Cody cried as well the doctor let go of my hand and walked out of the room.

"Its possible that they aren't" Cody said holding my hand

"no" I said bitterly "I know the baby is dead"

"don't say that!" Cody yelled

"its true!" my heart burning "the baby's dead!"

Cody looked at me with hurt eyes he shook his head.

"its not like we wanted one!" I yelled Cody looked at me in disbelief.

"no" he said "it wasn't like we wanted one but the fact that there's a chance that it could be alive. Don't be bitter at the baby. I was scared but it was kinda exciting having a baby with such a lovely girl"

I looked at him he got up

"bye kaitlyn" he said and left the room.

I felt so upset. I had lost everything my baby, my boyfriend and my Dad I didn't care I had no hope left and I fell asleep. I woke up it was the morning and I felt a hand on mine my body relaxed Cody was back. I looked up, it was Michelle.

"Kaitlin!" she gasped she bent down and kissed my cheek

"hi" I said weakly

"have you seen Cody? I asked, my fingers crossed under the bed sheets.

"no sorry, he texted me what happened so I thought you'd want some company is the baby alive?"

"ok well at least you know about the argument and no not yet but they said it was probably dead" Michelle hand tightened around mine

the doctor came in, and Cody was behind him but when I smiled at him he just glared back.

"kaitlin" the doctor knelt down and looked me in the eyes "We think your baby is alive but you need to have a scan just to make sure"

"my baby might be alive!?" I asked Michelle knelt down and kissed my cheek. I was moved on to a moving bed thing and taken to a scan place as I entered the door I saw the nurse that was there before.

"hello kaitlin" she said smiling at me

"hello" I said smiling she knelt down and gave me a hug

"its nice to see you again" she said putting some gloves on.

"you to." Michelle held my hand and Cody sat by me he leaned over and kissed my lips and whispered:

"for the baby" I nodded and tears formed in my eyes but I just blinked them away,

"what's you name?" I asked the nurse she smiled at me

"nurse Williams but call me Chelsea"

I nodded I pulled mu top up and Chelsea wiped the cold gel over my tummy.

"its there" she said pointing to the little oval shape I looked at it and smiled Michelle squeezed my hand and Cody laughed.

chelsea moved the stick thing round my tummy while Michelle gasped and giggled.

"clean yourself up" Chelsea said turning the machine off. I wiped the gel of and pulled my shirt down, I got up but felt dizzy and sat down. Chelsea grabbed mine and Cody's hand and smiled.

"you still have a baby!"
