I'm 14 and pregnant

Cody's parents

I walked into their house (Cody's) and stared in awe, its so big! I was allowed out of the hospital yesterday and I wasn't going back to school, I now go on an online school via skype.

I felt hands cover my eyes.

"ready?" Cody asked we walked and then turned then walked down 3 stair steps and then

turned left.

He let go and I gasped. I looked at the room. There were wooden carvings running along the side where the roof was. The wood went in a straight line and then where to lines met they curled in and made a heart. The walls were white and the floor was old cream oak with a white sheep fleece rug in the middle.

"I know you don't have any spear rooms so I thought this would be ok?" before I could answer

Cody walked over to a wall and smiled.

he pulled on a smooth white handle that I had only just noticed and the wall opened revealing another room. The door was part of the white wall but the sides instead of the plaster were wood. I shuffled over and looked in the room, the same wood carvings ran along the side except in stead of hearts there were flowers, the walls were creamy colored and the floor was oak with a black sheep fleece rug. There was no bed but there was a big white wardrobe.

"its beautiful!" Cody seemed to relax.

"this could be our room, and that would be the baby's" I wrapped my arms around him and kissed him. He stocked my cheek and leant in for another kiss.

Helen (Cody's Mum) handed us our food. Spaghetti and meatballs, Cody sat next to me, his younger sister (12yrs Hattie) sat opposite me and his Mum Sat at the head of the table.

"where's your Dad?" I whispered, Cody shuffled and whispered back.

"where's yours?" I glared

"staying with my Nanny and Granddad so he can go to a place that will stop him drinking and tacking drugs!"

"My Dad doesn't spend alot of time with us" Cody murmured I squeezed his hand and ate some spaghetti.

"how long have you been pregnant?" Hattie asked

"a month and a day" I said proudly. Hattie smiled

"I'm going to be an auntie!"

"yes you will" I said smiling.

Hattie didn't bring up why I was pregnant or glare at me for having it with Cody, in fact she she was friendly and quite innocent.

Helen sat quietly watching us when she suddenly said.

"when are you having the baby shower?" I looked at Cody

"not soon maybe 8 weeks in" Cody nodded

"well if you need anything I'm here"

"thanks" I said finishing my garlic bread.

Helen brought over some doughnuts and we ate them happily, there was a knock on the door and my Mum came in. Hattie smiled at me briefly and ran up to her bedroom. My Mum came and talked to Helen while Cody and I sat in the baby's room planning everything.

"does your Mum know about this room being the baby's? I asked

"yeah"

"lets go show my Mum!" I grabbed Cody's wrist and dragged him over to Mum.

"Mum!" she turned around and looked at me.

"I'm talking!" I waited for Mum to stop talking to Helen and then she turned round and looked at me.

"You know we have no spear rooms?" Mum nodded "well there is a beautiful room down there for the baby and me and Cody" I pointed round the corner and grabbed my Mums arm.

"oh its beautiful!" Mum gasped I opened the wall door and Mum laughed, when she walked in she looked so jealous and looked at the room.

"lucky!" was all she could say

Cody's friends arrived. So me and Mum left, just as we were walking out the door Cody's Dad came in (Richard.) We walked back in to say hello to Richard, Helen looked slightly angry and glared at him.

"hello, I'm Jane" Mum said

"Richard"

He went in to kiss Mums cheek as grown ups do but as he kissed her he lingered. Opening his mouth and closing it as he kissed Mum. Mum pulled away and walked swiftly out the door. I smiled apologetically at Helen. Cody came over and kissed me good bye.
