The clouds covered the ground in darkness while rain poured down, it was a cold evening. Such as every evening for the last few days.
The weather didn't exactly do it for most of the citizens of any city, there was a storm coming, a furious and powerful one. Buildings had collapsed and people had died. Women, children, men, animals, omnics. Everything was covered with ash and blood. Lifeless bodies were spread across the city while heroes that were part of Overwatch tried to save the ones that were wounded or alive, this was easier said then done.
omnics attacked them along with Talon, they took the opportunity to end Overwatch and take over the city and eventually, the world. Sadly Talon had to take care of some people who were resisting them. And for some reason, the notorious Deadlock gang had tangled themselves in the 2nd Omnic Crisis. The white haired leader was facing Talon's sniper while she tried to fight off anyone who wasn't part of her gang.
She took a few hits but laid some as well, the animatronic bodies of omnics were spread around her as the members of her gang tried to cover her. Bullets were flying and bodies were falling. Every shot ended up in someone's chest.
The red eyed leader cursed under her breath as a bullet was send flying inches away from her face, the bullet left a wound on her cheek, but she couldn't care less. Her companion named Bob tried to cover her as much as he could, but he was in a... sticky situation. He was busy fighting the enormous groups coming towards them.It seemed like the Deadlock gang was on the loosing side along with Overwatch.
Talon had become very strong, their technology and weapons were more efficient and better then that of Overwatch and the gang.
Talon's sniper took out a few Overwatch agents before focusing on the Deadlock gang. She shot.
The bullet of the widow's kiss shot forward, right towards Elizabeth Caledonia Ashe. She barely dodged the fatal bullet, but it pierced through her upper arm.
A muffled sound could barely be heard from her while Widowmaker cursed at herself for missing. But the battlefield was chaotic.
Overwatch was facing 2 enemies, as were the other groups.A few citizens walked in the middle of the battlefield, this caught the attention of Talon and Overwatch. Talon being bloodthirsty were ready to kill them, while Soldier 76 yelled for them to get away, but they just wouldn't move.
More people joined the once small and foolish group. Talon was interested and watched while keeping their weapons pointed at the now enormous group.
Then it began. The cries of the group. The cries for the city's heroes. Not Overwatch, not Talon, not the Deadlock gang, not anything any of the groups would expect.
They called one name that send shivers down everyone's spine, the name of someone with a legacy. A legend. The name of the leader of the fallen gang, Y/n L/n. At first Talon agents laughed loudly in amusement, while some readied their knives for closer combat so the ones with guns could focus on Overwatch. They ran. Ran towards the now enormous group of yelling citizens while Overwatch tried to get to them first.
None of them got close as a ring of blue fire surrounded the enormous group, shots could be heard and the Talon agents who were a little too close were shot. The shots were perfect headshots. No one knew what had happened, but that changed when hundreds of figures with masks appeared on the rooftops. The masks had different glows around the edges, some masks had a blue glow while others had red glows. The rain came down as thunder suddenly followed. The figures were interesting, but one was just a little too interesting. This person had a very different mask from the others. Most of them wore half masks with different patterns of light into them, but this person had a full mask on along with a white glow.
