Little Things But , Real

Chapter: 2

Today  is a big day for Nania.
It was her first day of college
Nervousness ran through her spine she got panicked but suddenly remembered her first day of school.

"Mom i don't want to go to school please could I stay home and play with my toys" says the little Nania who once thought life was amazing.

Nania you have to go to school, you have to learn new things and make new freinds. Giving a hug to Nania her mom says, "child don't worry you are going to have a great day ahead."
Nania's feels like that same small child who now wanted her mother console her the way she did to that little Nania back in her childhood.
But as usual Nania's mom was not home.

The birds are chirping as usual the bell rings.
In an easy voice Nania exclames wait a sec i'll be right there.
Nania opens the door and there is Jeremy stading in fornt.

"Come in." J

"Nania you're late again, I've called you like for 15times and you've not answered any of my calls"

Without saying anything Nania picks up her bag pulls Jeremy out and shuts off the door, "come on we are late again."

Both of them head towards Jeremy's car.
Jeremy has a black mercedes which he got for 19th birthday.

The car moves on its usual speed, one of Nania's favourite song
plays in the background.

Nania breaks the silence " J i'm too nervous"
"It's going to be fine" , said Jeremy in his most comforting voice.
Their car enters this huge campus saying The Arnold's Co.educational college, the name sounded wiered but yes it was one of the best college of the town.
Nania had done a lot of hardwork to get its scholarship.

Happiness and nervousness ran through Nania as she walked through the campus.

Whispers heard
"Ooo fresher"
"OMG she is too gorgeous"
"Is she straight or..."
"She has a boyfriend, look...."

Ignoring all the comments Nania heads over to the main office of the campus.
There she finds many people wearing the same uniform.
She walks toward a lady sitting in front.

"Excuse me, ma'am i am a newcommer could you please help..."
Before Nania could complete her sentence the lady handed Nania a page and said,
"Here a list of classes you have to attend."
"If  you have taken any of these classes  please follow its timmings and directions will be provided from the maps located outside."
Thank you ma'am, could I please know your name?
"My name is Maria" she replied in her most usual tone.

Nania left the office and quickly glanced at the paper she got.
It said, "9:00 English"

Without thinking much with the help of the map given Nania moved straight towards her English class.

Nania followed the given schedual for many days.
After days went on Nania had learnt how to manage her college life.
Things in Nania's life went all well until one day....

This was the day when Nania met Christan.
Christan had a breath taking personality.
He was the charm and pride of the college.

Till this day Nania had made many friends including Jeremy but out of all of them, after Jeremy for the first time  Nania felt nice talking to someone ; Erika.

"Erika where do you live?" Nania asked in her most questioning voice.
I was just asking you so if you have some spare time then you , me and J could hang out or maybe have some coffee.

"I live in queen street 15th no. House, I"ll wait for your visit." Erika giggled.
"Wait a second who is J?"
"You never introduced me with him."
"Who is he?"
Questions filled up Erika's mind.

"Relax Erika he is just my best friend."
"Jeremy and I have been friends since childhood." said Nania.

"Nice?"
"How about you come home today, little Jim would love to see you."
Jim was Erika's dog.
Erika was a total animal lover.

"Ok fine i"ll come."

The bell rings and both Nania and Erika depart towards their respective classess.

"Don't forget today 4:00pm" Erika exclaimed.

Sure!

"J, Erika invited me to have a visit to her home are you coming?" asked Nania as they drove back home.

" Aa... I think i wont be able to come i have to complete my research i've been doing."

"What kind of research?"
"Its a project i've been given from the....."
"Whatever, tell me you are coming with me; please...."

"No Nania I wont be able to come sorry please understand."

"Ok fine i'll head away alone."

As they drove back home Nania felt J today was not behaving as he used to.
Since Nania had known him he never denied Nania for anything...but... today was something different...

Many thoughts ran in Nania's mind

"Is he in love with me.."

"Did he get another girlfriend.."

"Is he not well.."

"Come on Nania stop thinking of weird things which are not possible.."

On reaching home Nania found a huge mess around her home...
Nania got scared...
"Mom are you home...Mom..."

"Why are you yelling so much i'm here"
"What are you doing there?"
Nothing just findind something...shut up and clean this mess..."
"But..."
"No ifs and buts clean it fast."
The mess is cleared and the time is 3:00
Nania quickly gets ready and walks towards Erika's home..
