My phone buzzes on the table and I quickly grab it, unlocking it to see Harry's name followed with a text message.

*did you call baby?*

A smile breaks out on my face and I quickly jump down from the barstool, shuffling towards the door. I trip on the frame trying to dial his number and walk at the same time. I earn a laugh from Louis and throw him a glare as I shut the screen door behind me.

It's dark and gloomy outside. The clouds are a dark grey color. Loud thunder roars and dry lightning cracks across the sky; but even the darkest of days couldn't take the smile off of my face at this moment. Only him, only he can shatter me like glass.

The call goes to voicemail and this time I choose not to call back. And as I'm walking back into the house I receive another text.

*I'm sorry I can't call right now baby. But I'm on my way. I'm getting on a plane now*

A gasp falls from my lips, my stomach twisted in knots of excitement. I text back a simply "okay" and literally run into the house, busting open the screen door.

My mom -along with Louis and Johannah- look at me with wide eyes.

"What is it?" My mother chuckles. I know what I'm about to tell her won't make her too happy.

"Harry's getting on a plane. He'll be here soon." My lips turn up at the sides as I say it, but my mother holds a deep frown.

"He's caused you nothing but trouble. Now he's out of jail and coming back to America to only cause more trouble." I shrug, not afraid of her anymore. I spent my whole life cowering down and afraid to stand up for myself. Harry's taught me to speak out and defend myself when I'm in need.

"You can't control me, you know, I'm eighteen. I'll be nineteen in a few months." Her and Johannah exchange a glance. Louis only sits on the barstool, minding his own.

"I'm sorry Bridgette, but as long as you're living under my roof, you'll obey my rules. He's not allowed here and if he steps foot on my property I will call the cops." My mouth falls open slightly but no words come out. I can't comprehend what she's saying right now. She can't be serious.

"I love him. Nothing you say or do will be able to change that. If you're trying to threaten me into saying goodbye to him you might as well give up now. As much as we've fought for each other, I'm not giving up faith in him or hope that this will last forever." I stand my ground and cross my arms, waiting for her to tell me more about how bad Harry is. Love overpowers evil. If you love someone enough, you look past ever demon in your way.

"Louis, why don't you and Bridge take a walk. I'm sure you two have a lot to catch up on." Johannah says and Louis looks at me for confirmation. Instead of answering I walk towards the door, slipping my phone in my back pocket, and wait for him to catch up.

"Let's go," I say and he follows me out the door.
