"Sometimes not even the sun is hot enough"
We were in a van driving to the Octagon headquarters, which by the name of the company we and the trainees affectionately called just "the octo". There were several headquarters, but the main one, where we were, was in a more isolated corner of Korea. Close to the major centers and at the same time away from everything. Dan, Hyangsu and Hiro slept soundly in the vehicle that picked us up at the hotel shortly after completing one of Ren's strange missions. I couldn't sleep, not when the sun was already shining, giving me strength. I don't know if because of my powers, but that was it, I couldn't sleep with the sun shining.
Hiro slept with his head on my shoulder. I didn't know what to think sometimes. Hiro... He was everything I wasn't, everything I thought I didn't deserve. Knowing him made me have another perspective on life. I wasn't just pain and destruction, for as hot as I got, Hiro didn't hurt himself, ever.
I kissed the top of his head, we weren't such a sticky couple in my view. We loved doing things separately, having our own routine, after all, we rehearsed together, worked together and slept together. I love him so much, and I don't know what I would do if something happened to him, but I hope that on this vacation we can do more things that we enjoy. I'm going out with Sharon, and he with Aya and Kayo. Fuck, I just realized how much I miss the trainees.
I looked at Hyangsu and Dan, the first one sleeping open-eyed, creepy, and the other all sprawled out on the bench. Hyangsu and Joon would return with the usual Tom and Jerry drama... But where the rat is suicidal and the cat doesn't care about it. Dan would be back with the therapy sessions, and would probably give the younger trainees dance classes. I heard some new ones arrived. The family was growing, that made me happy.
Not long after, the van pulls up and the boys wake up, realizing where they were, Hiro gets excited, Hyangsu just scratches his head and Dan was reluctant to even get up, so I had to kick his shin so that he would wake up on alert.
- The siesta is over, Mexican. We arrived.
- Argh - he throws himself lazily on the bench - I'm still sleepy...
- Fuck you, pack your things.
- Bruce! Language...
Hiro caught my eye. I cursed a lot, it was natural among my friends in Rio, but when it comes to being an idol, I had to be an example, and look like a good boy, or good enough in interviews, since I was the villain In the MVs, a good excuse Ren found for not having to work on my acting, as a villain I could remain frowning on the MVs.
- Sorry. Are you going out with the girls?
- I hope so.
- Take care, ok?
I pecked his lips before we got out of the van, Hiro in front of me, Hyangsu and Dan behind me. Some people came running toward us, and Hiro ran toward them as well, more specifically toward two girls.
The Japanese girls, their countrymen, Ayako and Kayo. Aya was short, smaller than Hiro, and Kayo was even smaller. Aya had straight gray hair that fell down to her hip, her body was rather slender, not as slender as most trainees at her age, not least because Ren didn't allow us to go crazy weight-loss diets and stuff alike. Aya's eyes were the most "widened" among the three Japanese, and Kayo's most closed. Kayo had long, wavy black hair that fell to her shoulder. Her face was perfectly measured, so much that the other boys and I made a bet that she would be the visual or center of the group she debuted in. Dan and I bet on visual and Hiro and Hyangsu on center.
