• chapter 1 •

I slowly wake up, fluttering my eyes open, as I can feel movement in my bed. I slowly turn my body around seeing my boyfriend, Vincent, sound asleep.

We have been dating for about 9 months now, and let me tell ya, this past months have been the best months of my life !

I slowly get out of bed without waking him, carefully lifting the covers up enough for me to get by. I quickly grab a over sized (f/c) t-shirt and slip it over my, almost naked body.

I quietly open the door trying not to make a sound, walking in a quiet, fast paced motion down the stairs for breakfast.

I flick the light switch on, and walk over to the kitchen. I grab a frying pan and a few other items, bacon, home fries, and toast !

I know Vincent loves his toast, so I put a bunch of slices for him in the toaster ! I cook the bacon, and slide the home fries into the oven to crisping up !

I soon hear walking from up stairs, 'Vince must be up', I thought to myself. With that, I hear a grunting noise, as Vincent walks down the stairs stretching.

"Morning beautiful, it smells good !~"

"Morning Vincent" I said, as I giggle from what he said. I smile, while finishing up with the bacon, and taking out the crispy home fries and buttering the toast.

I quickly give him a peck on the lips before grabbing 2 plates from the pantry. I handed him one, with bacon, home fries and 4 slices of freshly buttered toast !

"Mmnn..this looks so good, what a great start to the morning, thanks for all the toast, you know me so well (y/n)~ !"

"Oh pfft like we have only been dating for 9 months. Obviously I know you love your toast Vince ! " I say in a sarcastic way.

We sit down on our island bar near the kitchen, and talk about our plans for today ! We were both off work, since it's only Saturday morning.

I go on my phone and scroll through Instagram, seeing that my friends have been to a local carnival, which was just downtown of our house. Yes,Vincent and I both have a house together, I mean it's not a big house or anything, just enough for the 2 of us !

"Hey, do you wanna go downtown to the new carnival ? If you want we can go a little later, since it's better at night with all the lights and cool weather !"

"Sure, that seems like a lot of fun ! The later the better~!"

I soon see Vincent plaster his signature grin on his face !

"Gah, you seem quite excited !"

"Yeap ! I wanna plan something nice before we go though~. " Vincent says, smirking.

"Sure what do you have planned ?" I ask.

I let Vince think, while I grab his finished dish and put it in the sink for washing later.

"Hmm, I'll have to think about it..~"

Again Vincent gave me a big smirk on his handsome face of his !

"Vince,.. don't get any ideas.. yet.. " ;)

Vincent laughs and gave me a loving kiss before heading back upstairs to shower.
