Someone in the basement!

Recap:

Sakura's POV

I was in a trance almost, it took me a few seconds to register everything. I was just having a bad dream is all and I most likely woke up Sasuke with the screaming. So he decided to come wake me so that he may go back to sleep.

I turned to look at him, he looked tired.

“I’m fine.”

“Are you sure.”

“Yeah just a bad dream is all.”

He didn’t look convinced, about me being okay and all. I looked straight ahead at my door, with a blank expression on my face. Sasuke soon did the unexpected. He climbed into bed with me. He wrapped his arm around my shoulders and laid my head on his shoulder. Telling me that it was all going to be fine. I didn’t know if he was right or wrong. I didn’t know if that dream was a message for me or just me freaking out. I let Sasuke comfort me, one main reason that I liked it. Him being here for me, that and I didn’t want to be alone right know. He laid down and I laid down next to him. We were facing each other in silence. He soon started to run his fingers threw my hair. I leaned into his touch it felt nice, him caring for me. I still couldn’t fall asleep and I guess he noticed.

“Sakura sleep I’ll be here all night I promise.”

He sounded so caring like he really did care for me. I looked him in the eyes and saw that he wasn’t going to leave me alone that he meant what he said. I closed my eyes and listened to both of us breathing, I soon fell asleep with him still stroking my hair.

Sakura’s POV

I awoke to a sleeping sasuke. He looked even more lovable when he was asleep. He seemed as if he was the good and wonderful man that I knew he could be.

His arms were still around me and I did not want to get up at all. I just wanted to lay here in his arms forever. Something that I have always wanted. Something that I knew I would never get, yet it was happening right now. I wanted him to truly love me, for me. I wanted him to see that I have gotten stronger, that I was no longer weak. A weak girl that couldn’t protect her friends, couldn’t protect the one that she loved. I just wished that Sasuke could see everything that he wishes for, is right here in front of him. That he does have a family, it may not be the family that he wants, but it is a family no matter.

I turned around in Sasuke’s arms so that I was now facing him. I placed one hand on his cheek. I removed my hand quickly when he started to move. Sasuke’s arms tightened around me around my waist, pulling me closer to him. I was only inches away from his face, away from his lips. They were so close, I could just… No, I wouldn’t. I wasn’t that desperate for him. Was I?

As gently as I could, I unwrapped his arms from me. I slid out of bed and went to the kitchen. I got myself a glass of water when I felt someone watching me. I turned to see Sasuke.

“Sasuke good morning.”

“Morning.”

“I didn’t wake you did.”

“No.”

“Oh ok.”

He was back to his old self, yay.

“Would you like me to make you something.”

No answer.

“Um well okay then.”

I started to make breakfast for Raven, Sasuke, and myself. Sasuke sat at the table watching me. Raven came down as soon as breakfast was ready. I made all of us a plate. We sat in silence. Then raven spoke up.

“Sakura what are you doing today.”

“Um nothing. Why do you ask?”

“Well I wanted to know if we could hang out today you me and Sasuke.”

“Um well I guess we could do that.”

“What did you have in mind.” I looked over at sasuke who didn’t seem to care about anything at the moment. I guess last night was a one time deal.

“We can play games and stuff.”

“Okay what game do you want to play.”

“Can we play monopoly.”

“Yeah sure.”

“Okay I’ll be right back.”

Raven ran to her room to go get the game, leaving sasuke and I in the same room.

“Are you okay with this.”

Again no answer. I was used to this of course so It didn’t really bother me, but I wanted to know why he acted the way he did last night I mean, sasuke wasn’t acting normal.

Raven came running down the stairs with the game and we both set it up on the table after cleaning the table off. We all picked our pieces and I handed out the money for I was the banker yay. Raven went first then sasuke then my self. After going around the board once we started to buy property. After playing for a few hours sasuke was winning. Soon raven was out of money there for she lost. We stop playing to move onto twister. Raven and sasuke went against each other and then it was my turn to go against sasuke.

Sasuke was winning but I wasn’t going to lose to him not any more. I ended up winning although I don’t know how.

After twister I made lunch for us. We ate talking about what to do next, but couldn’t really think of anything. I decided that I would clean some.

“Hey raven you and sasuke can do what ever I’m ganna clean.”

“Okay sakura.”

I started to clean the kitchen then worked my way through the rest of the house. It was late and raven was getting ready for bed after eating what I had bought for dinner last night. Sasuke and I ate what ever we could find. After he was done he left to go to bed as well.

As for me I had something to do before I went to bed tonight. I grabbed a stash that I had in the fridge and in the pantry. I then made sure that sasuke and raven went to bed before I made my way to the basement that they didn’t know I had. I opened the door to the basement and walked down the stairs. Once at the bottom I saw him sleeping. I walked over to his mini fridge that I had bought him and stuck the food in. Once I closed the fridge door I was pinned to the wall. With his hand around my throat. He was crushing my wind pipe. I couldn’t breath. I grabbed his wrist with my hands and tried to pry it away from my throat. I looked him in the eyes and begged him. He got like this sometimes, he would get mad, and do things like this. I was used to it by now. After a few more seconds he let me go and I fell to the floor. He helped me up, and was apologizing.

“Its okay,” I told him. He didn’t need to worry about it.

“He’s here know.”

When I said this he stopped everything even breathing. He looked at me, with so much emotion in his eyes. And then he spoke “So both of them now huh.”

“Yeah both of them.”

“Are you sure about this.”

“Yeah, just not yet okay.”

“Okay you got it.”

“How is he.”

“The same as always.”

“I’m sorry this is all my fault.”

“Stop blaming your self for everything that’s in the past try to move on and make things right.”

“Your right and that’s what your ganna help me with.”

“Yes of course. Well I should get to bed.”

“Okay then.”

“Well goodnight I’ll see you in a few days again.”

I went to my room and got ready for bed. I couldn’t stop thinking about how much longer I could hide them both here and what if they come across each other while I’m gone. Oh well I’ll just deal with it when the time comes, but for now I’m just ganna sleep.
