~Kamado Tanjirou's POV~
I never smell something so sweet as hers. It was a little bit overwhelming for my nose, after the stink from Oni earlier. It makes me feel light-headed and... calmer.

We met at my first assignment.
That time, I was too consumed in my own thought and didn't realize she was standing ahead of me. Her pitch-black hair and golden haori fluttered gently, showing a kimono with embroidery of peony behind it.
A villager at this hour?
There was an odd feeling about the way she stares at me. I can feel she was stunned, then a little fear — but it lasted for a split second before it all washed away by one strong sense of nostalgia.
"U-Um, Miss, are you alright—"
"Get your legs to move, kid!" My crow purposely shrieks at my ear. "Next place is Asakusa!" He even flapped and pecked my cheek— Ouch!
"Alright— can't you give me a second— Aw aw!"
"Nonsense, lazy kid. Be quick!"
Scolded by a crow in front of a lady of all things. I felt my face warm in every heartbeat.
"Sorry, Miss. I have to go!" I muttered an apology before jogging past her.
"Be careful, young Slayer."
I glanced behind, a bit startled to hear her soft yet firm voice. She waved once, half-smiling.
.

The second time I've met her was shortly after Tamayo-san and Yushiro's arrival while I still restrain a man who turned into demon before my eyes.
Damn you, Kibutsuji Muzan! Next time, I will—
"You— How can you enter?!" Yushiro hissed.
It amazed me how she was eerily quiet in her approach. If not for this sweet fragrance, I would never felt her presence.
And suddenly it clicked. Is she a Demon Slayer? But she didn't wear any uniform or bring a weapon. I tried to pick any scent from her. She just brings papers and ink behind her haori.
"Stop it, Yushiro." Tamayo-san signaled her to speak.
"Be at ease," she told them. "I came to help."
Her red eyes turned to me, smiling all the way.
Still, a sad one though.
