Chapter 1

Lincoln waited for the gray eyed girl to yell at him for bringing their friends here. But to his surprise the girl beamed at her friends. Hannah had chosen to stay at Lincoln's side while the couple; Asha and Liam. Stayed at the entrance of the cave. Clare quickly moved passed Asha. The blonde turned to look at Phoinex as she griped her bow. Phoinex followed Clare out of the cave stating that the two where going hunting leaving the four to get settled in the cave. Clare huffed as she lead her friend down a slightly beaten path used by the Grounders.
"What?" Phoinex asked. Her gaze landing on the back of Clare's head.
" He had to bring Asha," The blue eyed girl snapped," doesn't he know she turned us in." Phoinex shrugged even though Clare couldn't see her.
" I'm just gald their here and that Asha hasn't turned us in again," Phoinex said. Glancing up Clare watch as a metal thing plummeted from the sky. Phoinex slowed her bisk walk as she felt the ground vibrate against her feet.
" Phoinex," the blonde called screaching for the gray eyed girl. Phoenix doged a tree for the umpteenth time as she made her way to where she thought the meal thing had landed. Clare was long forgotten as she stumbled to the drop site. There were trees cracked and down. The door of the meal ship opened. A brown haired girl made her way down the ramp before turning around to face the people still standing in the ship.
"We're back, bitches," she called. With that a frenzy of kids threw themselves out of the ships and onto the ground. A body slammed into her sending her flying to the ground. Her gray eyes widened. She scrambled to get to her feet. But hands grabbed at her wrists and hualed her to her feet. The boys dragged Phoenix back to the drop ship. Phoenix kicked one of the boys. Smirking as his knee let out a satisfying crack. The girl was shoved into the drop ship. No matter how much she fought more of the sky people replaced them. Soon enough she was  left in the ship.

"Phoenix," Clare called, " Phoenix." Hearing the sound of muffled footsteps she took off. Suddenly a rope snapped sending the blue eyed girl flying up above the ground. She was caught in a net. The muffled footsteps walked up to the net. The man smirked at her before bring the hilt of his knife to the back of her head. Knocking her out.

Clare blinked the black spots out of her vision. Focusing her eyes on the man who had knocked her out only hours before. Trying to take a step forward she realized that she was tied to a pole in a dimly lit cave.
"Who the hell are you?" She asked, her voice raspy.
" I'm Ace," he said, still smirking, " and before you can ask I'm not Trikru."

Gray eyes burned into his head as he finished tying the girl to the 2nd floor of the dropship. Bright blue eyes met hers as the boy centered himself in front of her in a squatted position. Balancing on the balls of his feet, he began  to study the girl. From below them she could  her two voices arguing. One being  a rough boy voice and the other being a girl voice. The boy pushed himself up and away from her. Stalking  to the ladder and proceeding to climb down. After the yelling  had stopped. Footsteps returned to the  metal floor below  her and the familiar thumping  of the footsteps hitting the ladder. The handle on the hatch door turn and the door was flung open. A tanned boy made his way over to her. Crouching  down in the position the blue eyed boy was once in earlier. That boy happened  to stand behind the tanned boy.
"How many more people are out there?" He asked, voice  rough. Phoenix brought a fake confused expression onto  her face.
" I don't  think she understands what your saying," the blue eyed boy said.
"Shut up, Murphy," the tanned boy said. Clearly  he had been the one arguing with the girl before. Phoenix leaned her head back on the metal wall of the ship. Her mind wandering back to Clare. She wondered where she was and if she was okay.
