Consort Choi watched as each one of them went out the hall. She smiled, slowly opening the door to see the king alone.
"Your Majesty." he turned around and his eyes softened. "Taehyungie" she said, fake tears welling her eyes.
"Mina, are you okay, sweetie?" she looked down and her lips quivered. "Oh my, I'm very sorry."
"It's okay." she said. "I wish to talk to you love."
"Did you really slap her?" he asked.
She gulped. "N-no."
"Tell me the truth mina. Please." she sighed upon seeing his pleading eyes.
"Yes." she pursed her lips. "but it was because she told me that she was more loved."
"She told me that the people loved her more than me." her voice cracked. "It was true but it hurt."
"Hm, you've gotta accept reality then dear." the door opened, revealing the queen.
"Not everything is in your hands." she said.
Mina then opened her mouth but was immediately cut off by y/n.
"I wish to talk to you Your Majesty." she formally said. "Alone."
"But I am still talking to him!"
"Well then not anymore." y/n muttered. "Get out."
"You have no rights—"
"My position is higher than her my king." she sternly said. "Besides, what I have to say is more important."
"Your Majesty," mina begged.
"Oh my dear mina, no one is asking you to beg right now. We nicely asked you to beg earlier but look at you now, willingly begging for other's pity." the queen smirked. "Dropped so low now, eh?"
"Stop this." taehyung said. "Mina, please go outside for now. I promise to talk to you after."
Y/N kept a straight face as mina frowned her way.
As the consort began making her way outside, y/n chuckled. "Please walk faster consort Choi. I have more things to do."
The consort huffed, opening the door and slamming it shut.
"What is it, queen song." she sighed.
"I don't want our conversation to get any further as your presence itself annoys me" the king frowned, astonished by the queen's new formed confidence.
As he was about to respond, the queen cut him off and he gasped.
"I'm pregnant Kim Taehyung. And I am more than sure that it is your child too."
