________________Logic’s room;
It wasn’t uncommon for Logan to overwork himself. It was an unconscious thing, something he wasn’t trying to stop doing.
But how can he stop when he doesn’t have only his work to do, but even the other’s work to do as well?Not like anyone noticed that Logan pushed aside his own projects to meet deadlines that were otherwise impossible to meet. No one noticed the ungodly hours that Logan would stay up to and wake up at, getting as much as thirty minutes of sleep.
The worst thing was that no one seemed to realize that when they criticized Logan for working instead of socialising or joining movie night, he was finishing t h e i r projects that were supposed to be t h e i r responsibility.
But he had no one to tell this to,
no one that would listen to him;
so he did as always.Logan then appeared in the Courtroom, seeing as this was where the ‘truth came to hang’, he’d visit it to vent and complain to himself,
pacing back and forth.
“I can’t believe it!”, He exclaimed.
“It’s not MY work to do!! Then they complain?!”Logan let himself collapse back onto one of the chairs, placing his elbows on his knees and his hands in his hair; tugging, pulling.
Before he knew it, he was sobbing, yelling insults to himself.“No one even cares anymore! Stop trying!” or “You don’t have feelings, Logan! You don’t! You’re just an emotionless robot!” or “You’re not even smart, why would you tell yourself that you are?!”
But his mind wandered, now thinking of something much different; Thomas. What would Thomas think of him like this?
He admitted, nobody's seen this side of him, not in the slightest.
“What would they think of this...?”
He said to himself, though not a mumble, nor a yell, just a shaky, casual tone.Logan continued shaking, shivering in the seat, until.. He startled from a disrupting noise- The sound of
his door opening.“..Wha..!!”, Logan instantly bolted up from his desk, opening his eyes;
blurry vision and confused.
That's when he realized–All of it was a dream..- Everything.
He must've nodded off and was in
his room the Whole time.The Logical trat wiped his eyes, placing his glasses on, eyeing the door, “...Patton..?”
He said very weary and half awake.
"...Logan. I heard the-- Are you alright..?", Patton asked while still
holding the doorknob, a concerned
expression on his features.“I.., uh.. Yes, I’m alright. But,, what did you mean by ‘You heard’-?”
The question contradicted itself,
he, in fact, knew- Exactly, what
Patton heard..- Logan was
thourally still confused, nonetheless.".. I heard.. You. But it was, sad..? That's why I was asking if you're alr–"
“--Yes; I said I'm fine.”
"Logan, if you're working too hard--"
“–Of Course I Am..!! When nobody bothers getting their portion of the work done.. I get criticized.”
Logan ended up yelling at Patton,
very clearly frustrated. He always got
stuck with more work than he should; The effort going underappreciated,
Taking scorn and ridicule by his fellow peers. It left him to question;
Does anyone really need him..?“Patton.. Just tell me. Am I important..? If I can't..- If I'm not..-
I’m the Logical side. These emotions..- I shouldn't be feeling. Right?”This caused Patton to stand there, listening yet in shock, speechless. He'd always had a thing for Logan; not that anyone thought of Patton differently than a ‘Dad figure’ to them.
As Logic stayed with his hands cuffing his head, sighing heavily as the words passed his lips. Patton stepped more into the room, preparing his response,
"Logan.. You’re brilliant, an emotional human being and important.. Someone who deserves to be happy with a loved one.."He sighed a little, glancing at Logic, his expression softening, “..I- uh, Patton..? Are you meaning what I think you're saying..?” The Moral trait had gotten flustered, his features resembling Roman’s sash,
"Oh!- Sorry, Kiddo, just more of Dad’s ramblings. Don't mind me!"“–If you say so, Patton. Thank you, however...”, Logic wiped his eyes, adjusting his glasses, then fixing his tie. He took a breath, now facing morality directly; Had Patton answered..then perhaps, would Logan feel more- cared for? Yet, the fact that he asked..- was enough.
"Okay, Kiddo..- Hey, wanna come, uh, join us? We're all watching Disney in the living room and.. I could do better with you there--Roman and Virgil keep bickering, also.."
“--And I'm of use to that situation..?”
"It won't stop them, but- I'll enjoy the movie more, you know? So c’mon, watch with us- Also, if they argue too much, you can have them do their projects!"
“-You were also supposed to do your half, you realize?”
"About that; I'll do mine..after the movie?"
With that last statement, Logan quietly snickered, shaking his head. He glanced to Patton with a smile, nodding his head to the request; Before Patton left, Logan reminded of the promise “to complete the project afterwards”, As Patton cheerfully agreed, exiting Logic’s room, the door still open.
Logan stood up to exit the room, but pausing as a whisper was heard just as he reached the door-- from what seemed a familiar voice.
'Logan..~'
“-Deceit-!!”, Logan exclaimed.
Turning around, there was nobody there–But he knows what he just heard..- 'Was it imagined..?', Thought Logan. It must've been.Logan shrugged off the bizzare feeling, as he left to begin exiting his own room and closing the door. He spotted the other three near the living room- As well as heard Roman and Virgil, per usual.
“–You have comprehended what you're debating is delusional fiction, correct?”
