Bee gave her two friends a hug goodbye as they left, and once the door was closed, she turned around, crashing into Jimin, who was standing right behind her.
"You scared me!" She gasped, her hand on her chest, "What's wrong?"
Jimin pulled her into his chest and she laughed, "The movie scared you?"
He didn't answer. Instead, he stepped backwards, pulling her with him until they were sat on the sofa with her on his lap. He kissed her forehead firmly and let go of her a bit so that she could see his face.
"What's the matter?" She asked again, cupping his face in her hands and pecking him on the lips.
He sighed, "I don't like your friend," He said, "I get bad vibes from him. And he was checking you out,"
"You don't like any guys around me, Jimin," She smiled, "And nobody checks me out, you're just paranoid,"
He snorted, "I am not paranoid. You're hot, babe, all the guys check you out. I know, because even when I'm with you, I can see it,"
Bee kissed him again and got to her feet, "Nobody does, Jimin. You're the only one who has ever shown any interest in me,"
Jimin frowned and stood up, "That's not true, at all. Also, I'm not the only one who asked you out, Kihyun has, too,"
Bee raised her eyebrows, "Oh yeah, he did," She mused, "I forgot about that. How do you know?"
"Daisy told me. Besides, the only reason that nobody else asked you out was that they knew I was into you,"
"Ooh," Bee said, sliding her arms around his waist, "So you're the reason I have no ex-boyfriends to put in a list, while your list of ex-girlfriends is a mile long?"
"Ah, well-"
The smile dropped from Bee's face, "Jimin, why is it okay for you to have girls after you and for you to have a long list of ex-girlfriends when it is not okay for me to have one male friend who just happened to ask me out when I was barely a teenager?"
"Well- I- I mean it's not that, I-"
"It's not fair," She said, stepping away from him, "The only man I have ever been with, in my entire life is you, and that is still not good enough? We've been together since I was sixteen, Jimin. You don't trust me to have one friend who happens to be a guy?"
"Baby..."
"Don't baby me," She snapped, finally starting to lose her temper, "I don't grill you about all the girls who hang around you whenever you go out, because I trust you - even though you used to change girlfriends like you'd change socks. Why don't you trust me?"
"It's not you I don't trust!" Jimin exclaimed - Bee did have a point, but that made him even more frustrated, "It's him!"
"He has never done anything inappropriate towards me and is just a friend!"
Jimin grunted in frustration, raking his fingers through his hair. He didn't want to mention what Jungkook had said previously, just in case it was the wrong person. However, he still knew that Kihyun was a little too into her.
"I don't like how he looks at you!" He cried finally, "It's not that he's a guy or that he asked you out before, I don't like how his fucking eyes are always on you!"
"You're paranoid!" Bee shouted back, "He's my friend! We haven't seen each other in years!"
"I am not paranoid!" Jimin yelled, "I saw him with my own eyes! This is fucking ridiculous, why are you defending him?!"
"You don't even know him!" Bee said with a deep sigh, "Stop being so jealous. I'm not an object, Jimin. I'm not your property, I am a grown woman and I can choose my own friends!"
"No," Jimin said with a growl, "No, Bee. It's either him, or me. Are you really going to choose him over me?"
Bee's eyes widened. Jimin immediately realised that he had taken it a step too far, and reached for her.
"B-Babe, I-"
She stepped back out of his reach, "You know what, Jimin?" She sighed, "It just feels like we are constantly arguing lately. I don't think that Kihyun is the cause of this, this is just on you for not being able to control yourself,"
"Oh Bee, come on, I-"
"No," She stepped back again, "You've been getting more and more controlling lately. When you don't get your own way, or when you're jealous, you get mad. When you get mad, you break things, or you punch things; sometimes, you even punch people. Frankly, I'm getting tired of cleaning up after you and sometimes..." She took a deep breath, "Sometimes, Jimin, you scare me,"
Jimin's eyes widened in horror, "I- Baby, I would never, ever hurt you!"
"Not physically, Jimin," Bee's eyes filled with tears, "But you are wearing me down mentally. To answer your question... Yes. Yes, I am choosing him over you,"
"Wait, Bee, what are you saying?!" Jimin took a faltering step towards her and she stepped back again.
"I think I need a break," She whispered, "I can't take this anymore,"
"B-Bee... Baby, no, you don't mean that, come on, pleas-"
Bee gently pushed his hands down when he reached for her again, "I'm sorry, Jimin. I don't think I can stay with you. Please... Just give me some time,"
She slowly turned away, stooping to puck up her bag and throw it over her shoulder, before leaving the house; giving Jimin one last sad glance before she quietly closed the front door.
