Day 3

"Babe, I'm ready to go to sleep." She said.

He looked at her then back at his phone screen.

"Can you wait about five more minutes, the game's almost ending." He lied as she sighed.

"Fine, I'll be waiting." She said as she headed up the stairs.

He looked at the text message from his step mother. He ran a hand down his face.

Remember the deal. I won't hurt your precious little wife and you will marry the daughter of the Diamonds family. - Evil step witch.

He turned his phone off and walked upstairs. He saw her looking at the wedding proposal picture. He smiled but frowned when he saw her tears rolling down her face.

"You ready?" He asked her as she quickly put the photo away and wiped her tears away.

"Yeah." She said.

He kissed her forehead then said, "I love you, Lucy. When I leave, keep the photo to remind you of me. Even if I'm not with you, I'll be in your heart. Remember you're the most beautiful girl I have ever seen."

She smiled at him before going to sleep. Once he knew she was asleep, he kissed her lips while letting a tear out. He walked out and closed the door before walking downstairs to the couch. He let his tears flow. No matter what, if he just wants to tell her the truth, he knows his step mother is going to kill her. So this is the best way.
