Day 5 - Valencio's POV

"You broke the deal, Valencio. Now she will die." I smacked her.

"That's enough! I'm fed up of you! Why are you ruining my happiness?! What did she ever do to you?! You're even threatening her parents to marry me! I'm fucking married and I love her! This," I held up the papers then ripped them up, "it's gone! I don't care what you're saying anymore! I'm fucking 26 for goodness sake. Married for 7 years! I'm done! Don't ever come near my wife or me anymore!"

I ran out of the house and literally sped to our house. As I walked in, I called for her to come downstairs. When she didn't, I felt worried.

I took my shoes off and ran up the stairs to find her asleep. I smiled and kneeled down.

"Hey babe, I got excellent news to tell you." I said, shaking her awake. "Babe? Babe, wake up."

She still wouldn't wake up. I looked at her bedside table and saw a letter to me. I opened it and read the contents in it.

As I read through it, tears ran down my face. I called the ambulance and stayed with her until they came and took her away.

"Daddy, why are you crying?" Her brother asked me.

"Take care of my brother for me." Her voice rang inside my mind.

"She's gone but in a better place. Please remember that she's in your mind and heart. The love she gave you. Remember all the times you spent with her. How she took care of you." I said hugging him.

"Okay." He said then started crying.

The paramedics came in and took her away.

"Can you please tell us how she died?" They asked.

"She died of stage four leukemia. Here's her letter to say it." I said giving it to him.

"I'm sorry for your loss and God bless you." He said before giving me the letter back and walked out with her whole body even face covered.
