"I'm Hoseok." The man said. I stared at him with fear. He looked like he belonged in a gang. Or something vicious. Either way he didn't look safe. I too a step back and let him into the house. Was this really the friend Jin sent to watch me? Pretty sure I'd take better care of myself than him. His clothes were all black and he wore a black face mask. He looked dangerous. I always thought I would like the danger, obviously not.
"Are you okay?" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at him.
"Huh?" I replied as I tilted my head.
"You haven't closed the door and you're just staring at me... Is something wrong?" He spoke so polite and proper. It was nothing like how I thought he would speak.
"N-no... just uhm nothing!" I said as I closed the door and stared at the ground as I hurried into the kitchen. The pizza remained on my plate and I picked it up, although I don't have an appetite anymore.
"Jin told me to order some pizza, I didn't know what you liked so I just got cheese." He said. I nodded and took a bite out of the pizza. "I apologize that he won't be here for a while, but you'll see him if you still plan on working as a model. You're probably going to be used for a lot of things. Picture-wise I mean..." I looked at him and he smiled. His smile was nice. "So you start school on Monday. Jin will probably be here to take you to school by then but I'm not sure. Can you drive?" He asked. I let out a laugh and he looked at me in a confused way.
"Can I drive? What kind of question is that? Of course I can! I have my license in my suitcase." I replied. He nodded and took a bite out of the pizza.
"We might need to buy you a car so you can get to school." The way he said it seemed like I was obviously going to get a car or he had something planned. I hope it's neither since I don't trust him yet. "We can go car shopping tomorrow. You have one week before school starts for you so let's get you all prepped up for it. Okay? Okay. Now Jin told me that I'll be staying here too. So we are both going to live in this house. I think the dog sitter is going to move in here starting tomorrow too." I widened my eyes and just stared at him. Dog sitter guy? But why?
"Why are the two of you moving it?" I asked quietly.
"Jin barely knows you. You may be family, but even those who are closest to you can betray you. He trusts me and that dog sitter. I don't like him. There's something about him.... I don't know what it is but... never mind." I nodded in understanding. I really did get him. There was something off about that kid.
