The Bartholys Hybrid

The brothers

I get off my bus and walk about 5 blocks to the Bartholy residence. I'm nannying a young girl named lorie and to be quite honest I'm nervous because I'm not really good with children. As I pass through the gates I immediately feel the energy the house gives off and I stop in my tracks. I leaned that since I'm a hybrid I feel sensations more and I can detect people who have powers or who are immortal. I also know that I'm stronger and more powerful than vampires and werewolves combined. I tell my self out loud " I can't stay here, they won't accept me for who I am." As I turn around to leave I think to myself that I have no where to go,This is my only option. I turn back around and walk up the stairs and I knock 3 times. As the door opens I come face to face with a man with long hair that falls over his shoulders. He has a beautiful face and a constructive jawline.

Nicolae: "Hello, you must be Ellie, I'm Nicolae".

I'm immediately lost at words, his husky voice runs all through my body. Does he suspect I'm a hybrid???

Ellie: "Ahhh...ummmm... yes I'm Ellie".

Omg I'm so stupid he must think I'm a weirdo.

Nicolae: "Please come in we were expecting you".

I push my things inside and I'm immediately in awww. A big grand staircase and chandeliers. I look at Nicolae he's looking at me with intense curiosity. This immediately makes me uncomfortable.

Nicolae: "Let me take your bags up to your room. Follow me".

I do as he says and give him my bags. As we go up the stairs I look around and observe the house. As I get into my room I gape my mouth open in shock. It's such a beautiful room spacious and rustic. It's like they designed it for me.

Nicolae: "Do You like it we just remodeled it"

I immediately shake my head.

Nicolae: "Well this is where I'll leave you. You're uniform for university is in your bathroom. Dinner will be ready whenever you come down".

With this he leaves without another word. I totally forgot about college and I instantly want to cry. I hate school it's so boring and not to mention I have no friends. After I unpack and shower I head downstairs to the kitchen. When I enter I see two new faces or should I say two young men. One of them is blonde with amber eyes. He's muscular and has a very intense stare. The other young man has black hair with a tint of blue almost. He stares at me with his green emerald eyes and I instantly lick my lips. Nicolae: "Please sit down. These are my brothers Drogo and peter"

OK I tell my self Drogo has blond hair and peter has black. I sit down.

"Hello, I'm Ellie".

There's silence in the room. I could read there mind if I wanted to. Being a hybrid at this current moment reassures me. But I made a promise to myself I won't intrude on others privacy. Finally someone talks.

Peter: "Hello".

I turn and see peter give me a kind smile. I return it. I look at Drogo he doesn't say anything and without warning leaves the dining room.

Nicolae: "Don't mind him. He's always like that".

I look at Nicolae with reassurance.

"When will I see lorie". I say

Nicolae: "Tomorrow after college. She's already asleep".

I shake my head and finish my dinner. As I get to my room I lay in bed and wonder how college will play out tomorrow. Before I know I drift into sleep
