The Bartholys Hybrid

In a months time

I enter peters room without knocking because I have the impression I'm welcome anytime because I'm his new tutor. He's playing at his piano but as soon as I walk in he stops playing to face me, his green eyes pierce my body.

Peter: "wow, you don't have manners do you".
Peter laughs while he turns back around to his piano. I roll my eyes and and wave him away with the flick of my hand.

Ellie: " ohh so I'm rude now huh. News flash for you I don't care. How about that huh".

Peter turns back to me with a surprised expression and he stands up from him piano bench. He starts to walk towards me and I instantly feel hot and warm in places I shouldn't .

Peter: " such an insolent mouth Ellie I'm going to tell Nicolae."

Ellie: "OHHH I'm so scared of Nicolae....In reality he's a old man who's been living for four hundred years. Nicolaes a bad tempered granny.

Me and peter break out In laughter, tears roll down my face. I can't help but picture Nicolae as my grandpa.

Peter: "so if Nicolae is your grandpa what am I to you."

Peter says this with a snarky attitude and he laughs it off with a wave but before I could answer Nicolae burst into the room with a sour face. He turns to look at me. I forgot vampires have good hearing.

Nicolae: " I'm not your grandpa Ellie that was really rude of you."

Ellie: "ok grandpa"

This time his eyes grow red and me and peter can not conceal our laughter. Without even being able to understand what's happening I feel Nicolae wrap his hands around my waist and he throws me on the bed. He has a playful air on and I feel safe and loved. He begins to tickle me and I hate being tickled. I use my powers to force Nicolae off and now I'm the playful one and I force Nicolae to the bed and begin to tickle under his knee. He laughs and he tries gto struggle but I'm stronger. He calls out to peter for help and peter stays and laughs. I eventually stop tickling him and we leave him be. After awhile me and peter stop studying and I leave him to his Music. As I walk out I run into Nicolae again. This time he looks at me and touches my shoulders.

Nicolae: "Ellie you must begin training to master all your full potential. "

Ellie: "but you said I could wait awhile and figure things out on my own."

Nicolaes face grows sorrowful and he takes another step to me.

Ellie: "Nicolae what is it your worrying me.

I search his eyes for an answer and I can only think of one reason he would rush my powers. A chilling air has filled the room and I know why I have to train.

Ellie: "Is it true Nicolae. Is he coming back so soon".

Nicolae looks so desperate and so eager to protect me and I know now more then ever that I need to prepare.

Nicolae: "Yes in a months time."

It can't be he won't approve of my presence here as soon as I find a home it's immediately ruined. Viktor will kill me and he won't hesitate so what could I do. Should I stay and train or should I run and cower. All I know is my life is in danger and not even the boys could protect me so what will I do. I leave Nicolae and go to my room I walk in slowly and close the door without even looking behind me.
