My fire inside

As I walk home I'm thinking if I have a chance at being happy without lying or without hurting people around me. As I enter the gates I see peter sitting on the steps looking eagerly at me.

Peter: "Ellie I don't mean to hurt you. When you left I felt horrible, I'm terrible sorry."

Ellie: "It's fine peter, I just haven't came clean about everything. It's not your fault"

Peter looks at me with disdain. I can tell he's questioning what I just said to him.

Peter: "What do you mean by that"

I feel terrible that I could have lied to these people. I know there vampires and I'm letting them hide there true selfs. I'm also being untruthful to myself.

Ellie: can we have a meeting. It's important for all of us.

Peter: of course, come in I'll get my brothers.

I go and sit on the couch in the living room waiting. I can't help but think I'm going to be fired and let go. Where will I go ! I have no one except them. They finally come down and I'm amazed. There all so beautiful and the way the walk ! It doesn't even seem like there touching the floor. They come sit beside me on the couch.

Nicolae: peter told us you wanted to talk about something important.

I turn crimson red and I put my head down instantly in shame.

Ellie: yes I did and before I say anything I want to tell you guys I'm sorry for lying. I shouldn't have, you guys deserve better then that.

If not before they look more troubled then ever.

Nicolae: you can talk to us you know. We're her for you.

I feel reassured but not fully

Drogo: "out with it little thing. I have girls waiting for me. Unless your going to substitute for my time missed"

I get angry. This is important to everyone and he's worried about sex. I'm not the only one angry. His brothers give him a dirty look.

Ellie: "I know what you guys are"

This time there expressions change and now there shooting daggers at me. Did I come off to strong.

Nicolae: "what do you mean by that"

Drogo: " I think the little thing is scared."

For the first time , I look at Drogo with worry.

Ellie: you guys are vampires. I know and nobody told me. I felt your energy as soon as I walked in the gate.

They look at each other with disbelief mixed with something else I can't understand. At this moment the all seem uncomfortable and sit up straighter.

Nicolae: "what do you mean you felt our energy."

Ellie: "I'm a vampire....but I'm also a werewolf"

Drogo: "you're lying we would have felt your aura as soon as you walked into his house."

Ellie: I'm not lying I swear to you. I'm a hybrid I have powers like no other.

Nicolae: "you used your powers on us."

Nicolae is now basically yelling at me and I don't know why he's mad. I used my power to protect myself.

Ellie: "I used my power to protect myself. I haven't used them on you guys since."

Peter: "it's unbelievable."

Drogo: "are you some type of witch little thing"

Sometimes I wonder how Drogo can be such a idiot and his brothers such gentlemen. What went wrong with him.

Ellie: no I'm not a witch!! I'm a hybrid..I'm a descendent of powerful people and i don't care if you believe me or not I know who and what I am"

Drogo is now more interested then ever. I see lust and desire fuming from his eyes.

Drogo: ohhh...the little thing actually has a Feisty side. I'm started to wonder how feisty you are in bed. How about you come to my room later and show me."

He bites his lips. Which turns me on. I have to press my legs together to stop the fire that burning within me.

Nicolae: "DROGO"

I'm to the point where I want to slap him across his face. His boldness shakes me to a different level. Is it wrong that I like it though. Drogo Instantly shuts up.

Nicolae: "if you're what you say you are your more powerful then you know"

I feel worried and scared. What's going to happen to me

Ellie: "are you going to make me leave."

They sit in silence looking at each other and deciding if I should stay or not. I can hear there thoughts and everyone wants me to stay besides Drogo.

Nicolae: no you can stay, but we're going to teach you how to use and master your powers.

I look at them with thankfulness.

Drogo: well if that's it I'm leaving. I have girls waiting for me.

He gets up and I sneer at his comment

Drogo: little thing I wouldn't laugh your going to be next.

And with that he vanishes and I'm left speechless.

Peter: don't worry about him. He can't keep it in his pants. He won't try anything on you.

I give him a shy smile and then I hear a girl screaming my name. It must be lorrie.

Lorie: ELLIEEEE

Nicolae: it's time for you to watch her.

I sigh and head up stairs no in the mood to watch a child.
