chapter 6

Jugheads POV
"Mr jones!" I hear someone yell, I panick and run to Amelia's room to find Adam packing around the room.
"Adam" nothing. I repeat his name but he doesnt quit mumbling to himself.
I walk up to him and place my hands on his shoulders finnaly gaining his attention.
"Adam I need you to calm down and tell me what's wrong, and where is millie?" I ask as I notice shes nowhere to be seen.
"That's the thing, I've looked everywhere, she isnt here, and the door is opened" he said with panic in his eyes.

I freak out for a minute before remembering we installed cameras after cloe went missing.
Me and Adam went downstairs and grabbed my laptop and pulled up the footage.
We see her sneaking out of her room and leaving the house, we check the outside one to see the direction.
"Ok, Adam, I'm going to go find her, I need you to stay here and explain to Betty what happened when she wakes up."
He immediately stands up with confusion spread across his face.
"What! No I want to go look for her"
I sigh in pity
"Look, I know you want to, but your still young , and we've already lost 3 kids. We cant let you go missing too, stay here, please, and do not leave the house."
He reluctantly nods and sits back down, I nod at him and run out of the door, phone in my pocket, along with a knife.

I walk in the direction we saw her go in. I go all across riverdale not finding a clue of where she may be, I decide to explore the woods in hope that shes out here, and safe. My heart rate goes up the longer I don't have her with me.
What if the same thing that happened to cloe happened to my daughter.
As I'm roaming I start to hear faint screams, running towards the sound I began to scream
"Millie! It's me dad! Millie where are you!" I scream as loud as I could following the noise to the best of my abilities.

Amelia's POV
I was tied right in front of her, I had to stay here and look at my best friends dead body, I don't even know how long I've been crying. But I can't seem to stop.
As soon as hiram killed her he ran, taking the weapon with him. As I sat there crying thinking it was my fault. Maybe if I didnt come here he wouldnt have killed her.
After a little more crying I begin to hear faint screams
"Millie! It's me dad! Millie where are you!" .

Dad...

"Dad! Help me please I'm in a cabin! Dad please I cant do this anymore help me please!" I scream.
I hear the footsteps get closer until the door opens and my dad is standing there. His eyes go wide when he sees cloes dead body, tears springing to his eyes. Once he jumped back into reality he runs up to me placing his hands on my face
"Are you ok? Are you hurt?" He panicks.
All I can do it shake my head as I continue to sob.
I look behind towards her but he grabs my chin and makes me look at him.
"don't look baby, you've seen it enough, let's get you out of here and then we're going to call the police." He states.
He untied me and lifts me in his arms and walks out.
"Adam is waiting at home for you" he tells me.
I smile a little bit before ducking my head into my dads neck not wanting to see anything at the moment.
"You're ok now, I'm so sorry you had to see that for so long, you don't have to explain right now but soon me and everyone else are going to need to know what happens ok?" He asks and I nod in response.

Once we finnaly make it home, before we make it to the door Adam swings it open running to me, escaping my dads grasp I throw myself in his arms wrapping my legs around his waist and crying into his shoulder.
"What happened sweetheart" he questions.
I shake my head and I hear my dad say he'll explain later.

We all go inside and my dad says to bring me to my room while he calls archie and the police.

Jugheads POV
Betty's is in tears after I explain what happened.
"We have to tell archie, hes still clinging onto hope that shes ok" Betty tells me. I nod and we walk nextdoor to their house and we knock, waiting for an answer.
Once the door opens its veronica with tears on her face.
"Hey , come on in" she tells us.
We walk inside to see archie sitting on his couch with a picture of him and cloe.
"Arch, I uh- I need to tell you something, its about cloe" his eyes instantly meet mine.
"Is she ok?"

I feel tears begin to form in my eyes before me and Betty sit across from him. We're facing archie and veronica.
"So millie went missing this morning so I went looking for her because our footage showed she snuck out, I eventually found her in an old cabin, arch..."

"What is it jug" he states with tears now spilling from his eyes.
"Archie someone shot cloe in front of millie, she had to sit and stare at her body for however long, I am so so sorry man" I quickly say watching veronica immediately begin to sob as she falls into Archie's arms. He begins to cry as well and soon enough we're all crying.
"How could someone do something to such an innocent girl.." archie asks.

"I don't know, but that's what I plan to find out"
