Jungkook and Taehyung got off the jet at Jeju International Airport.
A black Rolls Royce was waiting for them. At this point he wasn't even surprised. Kim Taehyung was one fucking rich person. He could buy the whole island of Jeju and Jungkook wouldn't even be surprised.
The ride to his grandmother's was short. She lived near the airport anyway. All that while, Jungkook could barely control his excitement. He loved his grandmother dearly. He suspected he wouldn't like him visiting without a warning very much because she wouldn't have time to make him his favorite tteokbokki.
" I meant it,you know," Taehyung muttered in a low voice.
"What did you mean?"
"Earning your trust,queen."
Jungkook chuckled. As if that would happen. The drug lord seriously expected him to give him his trust when he'd literally kidnapped him for - as of now - unknown and seemingly non existent reasons? That was a huge violation of privacy, and his privacy was very important to Jungkook. And he was also still in college, trying to earn his diploma. Kidnapping Jungkook essentially ruined his future, especially seeing that Taehyung didn't seem to have any plans of releasing him any time soon.
All factors of not giving Taehyung his trust.
" We'll see. "
A brief look of hurt crossed Taehyung's face, but it was quickly gone. "I really want to,queen. That's the truth."
A disbelieving laugh escaped Jungkook. He glanced sideways at Taehyung, then continued looking out at the beautiful Jeju landscape. He knew he was treading on thin on thin ice with the drug lord, but he honestly couldn't care less.
" If that's the case, then tell me why did you kidnap a nobody like me."
"You're important, queen." Taehyung was dead serious. " More than you realize."

Jihyo was in charge of Jimin's office today. He'd been taken sick and entrusted the cartel to her for today.
It was more stressful than she'd anticipated. Paperwork came in left right front and back. Reports kept filing in. And there was news from their Chinese allies too. The Russian cartels had declared war on them. Their most prominent allies, the Wang Cartel, were part of it too.
The heads of the cartel, Jackson Wang and Mark Tuan, had sent their adopted teenaged daughter Wang Yiren away to Korea. Where,it was not stated. But they did say that a powerful family in Korea was taking her in as their temporary ward.
Jimin would surely want to know the girl's location, so that if need be he could use her as a bargaining or even ransom chip. Jihyo had seen her brother do it before. She knew he wouldn't hesitate to do it again.
Jihyo hated it. The people he called tools were human too. Unlike Jimin, she had a human side to her. She didn't kill people just to make some quick cash, like he did. And he killed his prisoners after their ransoms were paid.
She made her choice then. She'd been contemplating it ever since she read the reports, but now she knew what she wanted to do about Wang Yiren.
" Yoongi, "she called, catching the attention of the raven haired male standing guard silently by the door. He perked up and walked over, obedient like a trained puppy.
" Yes,sajang? "
"Has my brother seen the Wang Cartel's report? "
"No,sajang. Park sajang will review all reports tonight. "
"Good. Bring it to me immediately. I want to review it again. "
Yoongi simply nodded and left robotically like a trained puppet. Once her was gone, Jihyo ran a hand down her face. Only now did she realize how long her hair had gotten. The dye in it had long faded away. She'd been so busy as the other half of the Park sajang duo she hadn't noticed.
Or trio,as Jimin would insist. He was so focused on trying to find someone who was probably already dead that he'd neglected himself. It fustrated Jihyo to see her brother like that.
Chasing ghosts. That was what Jimin was doing. Chasing Jeon Jungkook's ghost.
" Sajang, the report." A highly secured thumb drive was placed in front of her. Before Yoongi could leave,Jihyo stopped him. " Yoongi. Are there anymore copies of the report? Has anyone seen it?"
"No. The report was only for you and your brother's eyes, sajang."
Jihyo nodded and Yoongi left. She was in luck. She inserted the thumb drive and opened the file. Once it was open, she went to the paragraph regarding Wang Yiren and deleted it.
There would be heavy consequences, Jihyo knew. Jimin's wrath would be terrible.
But she was ready to face them.

After hours on the jet, Sicheng, Hyunjin and Yiren had arrived.
The air in Korea felt crisper. The scent of fresh roses hit her. The sun was rising, sort of like a symbolic sign of a new beginning.
The hangar they landed in was painted gold by the rising sun. Sicheng exited first, followed by Hyunjin. He offered Yiren his hand for her to stabilize herself.
She hesitantly accepted it. She wasn't used to touching people except for her fathers and Sicheng. Still, Hyunjin's hand felt warm - like a furnace. In the growing sunlight, his dark eyes appeared to be liquid gold.
"Thank you, "she said stiffly. He nodded in acknowledgement and let go of her quickly once she was safely on the ground. She swore the tips of his ears were tinted pink.
Yiren lifted her eyes away from Hyunjin and Sicheng, who had a teasing but knowing look on his face. She looked out of the hangar to the property that lay beyond it.
It sprawled out seemingly without end. The house itself was a massive, elegant structure of white painted a lovely yellow gold by the young sun. All around it was bushes of fully bloomed white roses,in their peak of spring bloom.
It was beautiful, a little white paradise dappled in the rising sunlight. It was simply lovely.
Maybe Yiren could slowly start to like it in the Hwang estate.
