"Come on, let's go shopping, " Taehyung suddenly suggested one day while he and Jungkook were sitting in the mob boss's office, just blankly staring at their mobile devices.
Jungkook looked up from where he was watching a video Jeongin sent him about bunnies on crack with widened eyes. His mouth stopped moving mid chew, making his cheeks puff out like the bunnies he was watching. Cute, Taehyung thought wryly. "What?"
" We're going to go shopping, Queen."
It seemed silly, but Jungkook was really, really glad to be able to leave the manor for once. As luxurious and beautiful as it was, it was very irritating and not to mention boring for him to have to stay in the same place for what, several weeks straight? Would he say no to Taehyung's offer?
           Hell no.
Besides, spending time with Taehyung sounded lovely. It would be very nice to be able to spend time with Taehyung. Get to know him better.
"Sure." As much as he loved the animals on crack videos Jeongin sent him, they could wait. Besides, they came in at an almost hourly rate, not that he was complaining.
Taehyung smiled that mesmerizing smile of his. "Great! We can go now."
Jungkook looked down at the silver gray hoodie and black jeans he wore for a moment before shrugging. His attire was fine for a simple shopping trip. He only stopped by his room to grab a pair of Balenciaga shoes and an earring to attach onto his left ear.
When Taehyung's white Rolls Royce pulled up at the shopping mall, it was at one of the largest and most expensive malls in Korea. Jungkook's broke ass jaw dropped.
               "What the fuck? "
Taehyung laughed, a pure, clear sound that sent shivers down Jungkook's spine. He took the younger's smaller hand in his own, startling him and causing a blush to erupt across the bunny's face. "Come on, Jeju boy. Let's go."
"I'm from Seoul, not Jeju! That's my grandma!"
Taehyung laughed again as they walked down to the entrance, still hand in hand. He reached forward to ruffle Jungkook's raven black hair. "Whatever you say, my queen."
A smile made Taehyung's lips tilt up as he watched Jungkook try to neater his hair while still holding his hand. Being with him was a treasure he never knew he needed until he held it in his grasp. Infinitely more precious than any jewel or money and fame.
The second card had been delt to him, and he played it well.
              His Queen was . . . happy.

The last person Kim Seungmin had expected to be at the door was Hwang Hyunjin and Wang Yiren.
"Hyunjin, you . . .!" Seungmin engulfed Hyunjin in a bear hug, laughing as he did so, the ( slightly ) taller male laughing too as he returned the hug.
Yiren felt something like . . .happiness start to warm up her frozen heart. Happiness that Hyunjin was happy. Laughing. With Kim Seungmin. It felt so good, even though she didn't know why.
She wanted him to smile. Laugh. Be happy.
Yiren bit down on her lip as she realized what she was thinking. Maybe Tzuyu had been right. She was starting to open her heart up to Hyunjin.
              "Yiren!"
Sicheng came barreling down the stairs of the Nakamoto house to reach his life long friend, Tzuyu and Yeji behind him, along with Yuta and an elder woman she assumed was Mrs Nakamoto. He embraced her like how Seungmin had to Hyunjin. She smiled one of her rare smiles. Some of the loneliness that had been in her heart now faded into ash as she felt Sicheng's familiar warmth around her.
"It's been so bloody long," Sicheng exclaimed as he pulled away. Tzuyu raised a brow at her half brother. "It hasn't even been a month, you overgrown child."
Sicheng gave a fake, over exaggerated gasp as he hit his sister lightly on the shoulder. "How dare you!"
"She's not wrong, though. You're pretty childish," Yiren noted nonchalantly as she took a sip of the brown sugar bubble tea she held in her hand.
Yuta and Tzuyu both laughed. "You don't burn people often but when you do you go hard," Tzuyu managed in between giggles as she shot her brother a pointed look.
"You're the Boss's daughter. Wang Yiren , " Yuta said as he sobered, looking straight at Yiren. He was very, very pretty, like a character from a Manga. He even looked like he jumped out from one, like that other cartel member - Kim Jinwoo was his name, if she remembered correctly.
"Yes, but you definitely already know that. And you're Nakamoto Yuta, " Yiren said, meeting his gaze and bowing in respect, with him mirroring the action. "I really hope that haven't been a pain, especially Sicheng. "
The look Yuta shot towards the Chinese male was short but filled with affection and something else endearing. Sicheng's ears started to turn red. Yiren resisted the urge to smirk at her dearest friend. It'd happened, like she'd hoped.
"Oh, none of them have been. Especially not Sicheng. "
