The Halloween Ball

"Come on, Draco!" Harry said, pulling his boyfriend's hand, but Draco wouldn't budge.

"No, Harry, I don't wanna! What if people laugh at me?" Draco pouted.

"Draco, no one's gonna laugh at you," Harry said.

"Maybe, but are these costumes really necessary? When I walk in there, the first thing people are gonna say is 'Draco Malfoy, former death eater, is wearing a dragon costume?'," Draco said.

"Baby, no one's gonna say that. If anyone says anything, it'll be 'Is Harry Potter, two time defeater of the Dark Lord, dressed up as a lion?'. Besides, it's a Halloween Ball. You're supposed to wear costumes," Harry said reassuringly.

"But-" Draco started to say, but Harry kissed him, cutting him off.

"Look Draco, if anyone makes fun of you, I'll kick them in the nuts, okay?" Harry said when he pulled away. Draco giggled.

"Okay, fine, I'll go," he said. Harry smiled and linked arms with his boyfriend and they walked into the Great Hall.
