Chapter 2: Jinno-Sensei

  Sora's P.O.V.~

  I woke up in the morning bright and early and decided to ditch Ruka and Natsume. Yes, leave them in the forest unattended while I go finish this dumb quest I was given.

  However, this part of the trip was rather uneventful. It just took a lot of walking and I made it into a clearing.

  "So, you have finished the task you were given." It seemed like Natsume and Ruka managed to catch up with me while I took my sweet time to get here. "But you still haven't proven you have an Alice."

  "Is that so..?" I smiled at him. "You're welcome to interrogate me."

  Flames appeared around my body and I knew instantly that he had a fire Alice; most fire Alices has a shorten lifespan. Ah, poor boy, he's going to die sooner at this rate..

  "How about.." I waved my hand which caused the fire around me to disappear, and Natsume and Ruka stepped back in shock. "I do something for you to help you out instead?"

  I stepped towards Natsume and he took another stepped back, probably confused of why his Alice disappeared. With a sigh, I used another one of my Alices, the shadow manipulating Alice and froze him from where he stood. Natsume struggles but couldn't seem able to escape the shadow's clutches.

  "Let go of me!" He cried and I laughed at that. "What are you going to do?"

  "Just a favour." I replied and used my hand to put it against his forehead. "Now stay still or I might mess this up."

  Thank God, my spirit guardian gave me so many useless- I mean useful Alices that I could use so that I could help this poor child. I used my Alice Alterer and changed his condition from a life threatening Alice to a guaranteed non-life threatening one.

  "Do you feel better now?" I asked him and Ruka seemed to be confused.

  "What did you do to him?" He demanded at me and I smiled at him.

  "My heart-" Natsume sounded shocked. "It doesn't hurt anymore."

  "Yeah, of course it doesn't." I replied. "Just don't tell anyone that I have done something to you so that nothing would happen to me out of the normal."

  "Aren't the teachers watching over us though?" Ruka asked and I shrugged.

  "I assumed so, so I basically set up an illusion to let them think that we went to talk about crap." I laughed. "But you might want to keep me under your flames so we don't look suspicious if someone comes to check on us."

  "O-Okay." Natsume hesitantly sets the area around me on fire once more and a worried Narumi-Sensei bursted into the clearing.

   "Eek!" I scream, trying to act scared. "There's so much fire!"

   Natsume and Ruka seemed pretty frozen from my act so I glared at them quickly before Natsume got the message.

  "Show us your Alice now!" He yelled at me and I waved my hands, using nullification to make the fire disappear.

  "Sora has the nullification Alice!" Narumi-Sensei clapped and went over to Natsume, who actually lets him knock him out with a kiss. "The whole class and I were watching you the entire time, so you passed the test."

  "That's great!" I cheered. "I'm accepted in the class!"

   I grabbed Ruka's hands with fake joy and his face seem to shine with child like joy. "Thank you, Ruka!"

  "Now, you're officially a student and you're stuck in the academy!" Narumi-Sensei said and I blinked. Stuck in the academy.. Huh..?

  "You also don't have a dorm to stay at the moment." Narumi-Sensei said and looked towards Natsume and Ruka. "One of you two can share a room with her until she gets her own dorm."
