Chapter 5: Loss

Silver had spent night and day, weeks turned to a month and Blaze was still in a coma. He wasn't the only one staying there though. Christien was there as well to make sure that Blaze and Silver weren't bothered by any other people that could give them trouble.

Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, Shadow, Amy, and many others came to check on Blaze and always saw Silver holding and squeezing her hand.

After well over a month and a half after the incident Blaze woke up from her coma, but Silver was asleep and couldn't witness it.

Blaze was unsure of what happened until she remembered everything she told Silver before passing out.

Blaze: why did I say those things? Was I really worried about...

She was interrupted by the door opening and Christien coming inside.

Christien: Blaze! Your awake.

Christien gave Blaze a hug and she returns one as well.

Blaze: hey Christien, how long was I out?

Christien: a month and a half. Don't worry nothing happened while you were here.

Blaze notices Silver start to wake up so she walks up to him and gives him a huge kiss.

Silver had no idea what was happening until he opens his eyes and sees Blazes eyes closed right in front of his and her familiar lips touching his.

When Blaze pulled back from her kiss and looked into Silvers yellow eyes.

Blaze: hey Silv.

Silver couldn't believe that she was awake and he wasn't awake to see it. He could only hug her and drop a few tears.

Silver: I thought I lost you forever Blaze. I thought you wouldn't wake up and I couldn't do anything to help but stay here until you were better.

Blaze gave a faint smile and said she was here now.

Christien got a phone call from his girlfriend Sally and said he had to take this.

After Christien left Silver and Blaze decided to talk for a little and tell each other random things.

Meanwhile with Christien

Christien was on the phone talking to Sally about some incident that needed his help.

Christien: wait Capitol city's on fire?

Sally: no it's catching on fire and if we don't stop it now the entire city will burn down.

Christien: okay I'm on my way.

Christien hangs up and races into Blazes room.

Christien: we got a problem that might need your guys help.

Silver and Blaze both look at Christien and ask what it was.

Christien: the Capitol city is about to burn down if we don't do something soon.

Silver: I'm in, Blaze can you fight?

Blaze looks at herself for a little thinking about what she had to lose if she didn't.

Blaze: yes I'm fine, let's go.

Christien grabs a Chaos Emerald from his pocket at holds it up with Silver and Blaze next to him.

Christien: Chaos Control.

The three teleport to a street where most of the sonic team were trying to stop a apartment building from making it catch fire to the other ones.
